Carlo Conti's Sanremo has had a good start, better than last year's edition. Half of Italian TV-audience chose the festival to watch. Last night's show was watched in average by 13.210.000 viewers and 49% share in the first part of the show, the second was instead 6.461.000 and 52%. The average for the whole show was 11.685.000 or 49,63%. The contacts were 25.870.000 (whatever that means? The same as in Eurovision or those who turned in at least for a minute to watch?). That's about half a million better than last year in tv-audience but a little less in contacts....
More details (in Italian) here. You can check artist by artist how many viewers turned in to watch their performance (Malika scored highest here with 15.361.000) and in the second list by every artist and the peak share during their performance per minute. Here surprisingly Gradia Di Michele & Mauro Coruzzi got the most interest followed by Lara Fabian. Apparently people were not impressed after all as they didn't vote for them....
And as for the votes, here they are. Maybe. Who knows?
