The Czech Republic Eurovision 2020 selection was a bit like Finland's UMK2020: One thought every song was good enough for Eurovision, and then when Benny Cristo was announced the winner the fandom went meh. But it's easy to understand and I agree to some degree. Kemama isn't going anywhere and won propably because of the strong social media following of the said artist, but not entirely. He did win the public vote (a total of approx 35.000 votes) but also the jury made of previous Eurovision stars gave him a second place. Now we just have to wait and see how they can translate this more video friendly song to the stage..... Elis Mraz & Čis T came 2nd and Barbora Mochowa ended up in 3rd place. Singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and athlete Ben Da Silva Cristóvão (32) has been around some ten years already. His dad is from Angola, mother from Czech Republic. Three albums, one EP and a string of hit singles under his belt his now off to Rotterdam....
