Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

¡Objetivo Eurovisión! That's what's happening in Spain tonight when they will choose their entry for Stockholm 2016 Eurovision song contest. Six songs, televote and jury of Eurovision winner Loreen from Sweden (sharing sonwriters with Xuso so how fair that is remains to be seen...), last year's Spanish represant Edurne (also sharing the same songwriter with Xuso, tsk tsk) and Carlos Marin of Il Divo (I suppose they couldn't get Il Volo...) will decide who goes to Stockholm for Spain. Barei is already topping the iTunes chart in Spain and has become the biggest fan favorite, too. This is easily the best Spanish national final since forever and I could live with any song really, even with the corniest one (Victorious) and the one that inspires me the least (Dias de alegria) but let's see how they do live. RTVE has publshed today snippets of their songs and you can listen to them here . The full songs will be revealed tomorrow 5om CET to increase the amount of drama and hysteria.   UPDATE: They are available now. Very fitting fo those Spaanish fans that mst be the most hyperactive and dramatic there are....  Xuso Jones is offering us the kitchiest, cheesiest, the most banal possible Eurovision mess up ever created in Sweden. I'm not even sure if I want to hear it for full 3 minutes to be honest! Maverick and Beltr+an sound much much better, and Barei doesn't sound bad either.... But with these 30 sec snippets my vote goes to Maverick no doubt! Three out of six, that's what the rumors and gossip got out of the final six that Spanish television has chosen to sing their songs in their national final televized some time later. Let's start with the names we already "knew".... Videos are not their entries but recent songs. The entries will be released later! Xuso Jones (26, born Jesus Segovia) is a singer, songwriter, plays guitar and piano he learned via internet. He's talents using the new www world we live in as he become a sort of a Youtube success that lead him to Los Angeles where he released his debut album in 2013. Since then he has done movie music from Mexico to China. He got known in native Spain thanks to Tu cara me suena show and he has released his second album. His song is penned by Swedes Andreas Öhrn & Peter Boström.... Maverick (Lopez, 19) comes from The Voice where his couch was Laura Pausini. He has dedicated himself to music the past six years and sings varies musical genres...
