This week we have those Harju brothers again each with their latest offering with added two up and coming female names both tipped for UMK 2025 as well, especially Kiki. Keep it in family. This week have brothers Frans and Mikko Harju with their respective latest offerings paired with two female bangers by Jannika B and Neea River. Thinking of it this foursome should all apply for UMK2025 in my opinion. Mikko is back with yet another inspirational melodic song. Well done. He deserves a major hit and exposure - even if he already has a very devoted fan base - so what about UMK2020? Everyone in Finland seems to be waiting for her several times postboned debut album (she's been too busy writing song to likes of Miley Cyrus) but here's another great track from it. Quite awesome video for the title track of her debut album. Another one waiting for The Break, and UMK2020 could just be it.... A real earworm from radio waves this summer from the rapping pop legend. 

Now that YLE has confirmed internal choice for the artist for #UMK2019 and Eurovision song contest let's see what's cooking in the charts while they are making decisions....   Mikko Harju is a newcomer with already a string of radio hits and lots of very devoted fans. His songs have been streamed millions of times giving him already two platinum singles ( Mä olen tässä and Taivas ei oo rajana ) and one gold ( Sinä riität ). He just released his debut album and this is the title track, Sinä olet elämä .  Antti Tuisku is propably YLE's and most fans' wet dream for Eurovision. The one and only real male pop star in Finland would certainly be a popular choice but how would he stand against European comparison? Hmmm... His latest Kumipuku is this summer's safe sex anthem. It's September and the Eurovision 2018 season is officially on. I will feature in coming days names that could be in UMK18, if only...... I say if only, as most likely we won't see any of them in there for UMK is profilied as a newcomers contest instead of being our own Sanremo or Melodifestivalen. In short: a major contest all the big names want to take part not only to win but to boost their record sales and score hits. But one can dream, right? I have thrown in some not so known names for variety. Let's go.... Vol.2 (Check out Vol.1 here ) Pete Parkkonen made himself known in Idols finishing 3rd. After two albums in English and one in Finnish - and not really going anywhere - he went on to do some television and won both Dancing with stars in 2014 and Tähdet, tähdet in 2016 and a new sex symbol was born. His latest releases have been in Finnish and Kohta sataa (below) video caused quite a stir. No doubt he's also a talented singer. Could this be a winn...

Mikko Harju is a new and up coming singer-songwriter. His third music video (following Mä olen tässä and Laulu raikaa ) Sinä riität comes with an important message: You're good enough just the way you are.
