Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Oh Germany! When did you become the new Belarus? Oh yes, two years ago with Andreas Kümmert. Then you continued last year with Xavier Naidoo and now you have the Sadi gate. Sigh. Really?  Anyways, it appears Wilhelm Richter aka Sadi withdraw thanks to forthcoming trouble with the law, and states he can't be dealing with it all:  "Reports about me are causing such a lot of hustle and bustle - I'd like to clarify and process that, but I am amazed at what I am being accused of, and I was totally looking forward to taking part, but I don't want to do it under these circumstances. So I'm not going to be in Cologne on February 9th" Yosefin Buohler will replace him. She's got already a lot experience and did also Swedish Idol (she's half Swedish). Wanna bet now Yosefin wins it all?

Well, I have been waiting for this. The photos have been online for years. The British rubbish media has made a story of Sergey Lazarev's "fetish porn past". LOL. How funny. Ok, this is getting ridiculus. First the jury thing. Now the whole Russian performance is online. Simply against the rules. Can someone do something? Like kick them out? Where are the rules when you need them? or are the Russians making them as they go. Look at Romania, don't play with fire. 

Oops! Here we go again. Last night's jury final for the first semifinal is in a scandal, thanks to Russian jury member. She did so many things wrong that I don't even start to list them. In short she did a lve broadcast on Persicope during the Netherlands and Armenia entries live on stage, not only displaying how it all looks on television along with her votes. One in question is Anastasiya Stotskaya (33) who throughtout the broadcast seems to be more interested in her own appearance in on screen than the important and responsable task she's doing. On top of everything else she's actually Ukrainian, if that should make any difference when both Russia and Ukraine are among the tio favorites to win come Saturday.  Anyways it's also very interesting to see how uninteresting the jurors seem to be on what's happening, they hardly paid any attention to Douwe's 10 second silence as they were too busy joking around. Belarus has received 84 songs for their national final, quite a drop from last year's 110. Tomorrow November 26 and December 1 these 84 songs will be performed live for a jury (you can follow it live on tvr.by it seems) that will select the finalists (15) for the national final to be held on January 15, 2016 in Minsk. The names should be out on December 2. In the final there will be televote only and let's see how that will end like. Belarus is famous for scandals and changes and all sort of things before and especially after their national final..... Can they make it right the first time? What will Lukashenko say? Quite many previous wannabes are at it again from Alexey Gross to Janet , Chistyi Golos  and Napoli. Last year saw the first edition of The Voice in Finland and several familiar names took part from Waldo's People's Karoliina Kallio to Saara Aalto and this year's UMK hopeful Krista Siegfrids. The season's real winner was Jesse Kaikuranta even if the trophy went to Mikko Sipola. Will this new season feature familiar names as well? So it seems.
