ITALY: SANREMO 2026 MUSIC VIDEOS, vol.2

Here are the Sanremo 2026 music videos in one place for your enjoyment....

ITALY: SUMMER SOUNDS 2022 BY BABY K / MIKA, TOMMASO PARADISO, MALIKA AYANE AND CHARLIE CHARLES / MAHMOOD & CO.

Some more tunes for summer aiming to become tormentoni 2022. The queen of tormentoni joins forces with Eurovision 2022 host Mika while Malika and Tommaso do their best as well to win some hearts. The nostalgia one is from a couple of summers ago but still a real banger: Mahmood going calipso joined by a string of top rank rappers and hip hoppers . Enjoy! Baby K feat. MIKA - Bolero Tommaso Paradiso - Piove in discoteca Malika Ayane - Una ragazza Charlie Charles, Dardust, Mahmood, Sfera Ebbasta, Fabri Fibra - Calipso

ITALY: SANREMO 2021 - TERZA SERATA - ERMAL META, ANNALISA AND IRAMA IN TOP-3

Two nights down, three to go and tonight's the usual covers night. This year however the Big artists are not performing Sanremo classics with guests but they were free to choose basicly any Italian classic, and whether to have guest stars along them or not. And yes, the performance has weight on the final result, voted by the choir and orchestra in Teatro Ariston. Something I have never and never will understand. Is this the moment you pay if you have been bitchy at the rehearsals or viceversa? In reference to Domenico Modugno's last place in Eurovision 1966 with fabulous Dio, come ti amo (sung last night by Gigliola Cinquetti, btw) simply because he was bitchy and diva in the rehearsals as the legends tells..... The full ranking of the past two nights, voted by Demoscopic jury stands as: 1. Ermal Meta, 2. Annalisa, 3. Irama, 4. Malika Ayanae, 5. Noemi, - in short all the most traditional Sanremo songs all in top by real big Big names - 6. Fasma, 7. Francesca Michielin & Fe...

ITALY: SUMMER SOUNDS FROM ARISA, MARCELLA BELLA, FABRIZIO MORO ft. ANASTASIO, SELTON & MALIKA AYANE & CARLINHOS BROWN

GIOVANNI CACCAMO - THE BATTIATO CONNECTION

Giovanni Caccamo won Sanremo nuove proposte 2015 with Ritornerò da te . That's the last success in a career that was nearly over before it started. Caccamo from Modica in Sicily left his hometown at 18 and went to Milan to find his fortune like so many others. He took part in castings and got a job in RAI's children's channel Rai Gulp and continued writing songs but the record companies were not impressed and it didn't go that well in X Factor 2010 either. After six years of mostly delusions and countless closed doors and refusals he was ready to give up and forget about being an artist. He wrote L'indifferenza , that was ment to be his last song.  He went back home to Sicily and in summer 2013 one of his friends said she had seen his idols Franco Battiato on the beach of Donnalugata. The rest is history: Caccamo takes his demo cd, writes a letter and puts everything in an envelope and goes looking for him. After four hours under Sicilian midday sun Battiato ...

ESC 2015 ITALY: IL VOLO WON WITH 56% OF TELEVOTES

The results are out and we can see Il Volo wins the first round's televote with 38,7% against Dear Jack's 10,4% and Nek's 9,6%. Expert jury preferred Malika with 26,3% followed by Nek's 20,0% and surprisingly Grignani with 11,3%. The demoscopic jury went had actually the top-5 in right order before favoring Nina Zilli and Irene Grandi more than their combined placing, and ignoring Grignani big time.  In the superfinal Il Volo is favored by televoters with 56,2% against 33,4% for Nek and only 10,4% for Maika. The expert jury did the total opposite: Malika 39,9%, Nek 37,5 snobbing Il Volo with only 22,9%. The demoscopic jury placed nek first with 35,9% but Il Volo was close with 32,3% and Malika again last with 31,7 but very close! All this summed up gives us 39,05 for Il Volo, 35,38 for Nek and 25,57 for Malika. If we look at the first two nights, Nek won the first night by placing second in televotes behind Dear Jack and also a very close second in press vote...

SANREMO 2015: TONIGHT THE FINAL!

Sanremo's 65th festival comes to and end tonight, or rather early hours of Sunday. We already have two winners as Nek won the Covers night, and Giovanni Caccamo the newcomers aka Nuove Proposte last night. he also picked both special awards given by the critics named after Mia Martini, and the press, named after Lucio Dalla. Four artists with their songs didn't make it to the final: both Eurovision veterans Lara Fabian and Raf, comic duo Biggio e Mandelli and quite surprisingly Anna Tatangelo, whose song was Eurovision worthy me thinks.  The previous nights votes (see below a graphic how the 16 finalists were chosen) will be zeroed so the race starts again. There is once aain the voting threesome: 40% televote, 30% expert jury and 30% demoscopic jury. After the first round there will be another round, once again the votes will be zeroed before that with the top-3. Several guest stars tonight: Gianna Nannini (she was supposed to be with Massimo Ranieri (ESC 1971, 1973) ...

SANREMO 2015: FASHION - IT'S ALL ABOUT BLACK, RED AND WHITE

Sanremo is also about fashion. I'm afraid the colors last night were not there - except for Chiara's yello Stella McCartney dress, and Malika's tile red. All men in black but Nesli in blue. All the rest seemed to be black and white.  Even the three hostesses Emma, Arisa and Rocio. With red. A lot of red. Rocio was wearing Giorgio Armani Privé, Emma Francesco Scognamiglio and Arisa Daniele Carlotta. Fashion polices seem to have not been so pleased. Rocio got applause but was critized by playing the Spanish look card a bit too much. Emma was named burlesque pride in the white dress but the black one showing some skin was maybe the best of the evening. Arisa got it all wrong in styling. She's been a disater before but this time she has exploded, in fashion sense..... I kinda agree, do you?

SANREMO 2015: PRIMA SERATA - THE LIVE BLOG

00.41 We are back again after advertising and it's time for the partial results. The names were given out one by one and those in blue are in top-6, those in red are in bottom-4 and in risk of elimination before the final. And that's all for tonight. Join me again tomorrow! 00.33 Stop al televoto! And some jokes and autoirony by the trio, some funny. Some not so. 00.27 We visit press center next. Half of tonight's votes come from there, the other hald from the televoters. There are over 1300 accreditated journalists present. Emma gets visibly touched by this memembering the great, the last free being Giorgio Faletti, Mango and Pino Daniele, three great loss for Italian music the recent times.... 00.22 We are back after short tv-news. Back to 65th edition of Sanremo and Carlo remembers some of the persons who have made Sanremo what it is. Arisa and Emma finally get a chance to sing , too. 00.13 Surprise! It's Michael Bublé! It's not...Humour. Appar...
