From his early career's progressive rock and experimental music with gems like Vorrei incontrarti and Le tue radici (later covered by Franco Battiato ), via Napoletan classic Dicitencello vuje he moves to international hits like Tu sei l'unica donne per me (that was ment for Sanremo 1979 but for personal reasons he couldn't take part after all) and Figli delle stelle to his Eurovision 1980 entry Non so che darei . His Eurovision particpation is historic in sense that since 1956 he became the very first artist to represent Italy without Sanremo or Canzonissima connection. By 1983 his life has turned into a mess with a Swedish model, jealous wife, drugs and prison.
