Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Russia seemed to conquer with their first rehearsal and this second is none the worse. Many say this reminds Disney's Frozen, I don't know as I never saw it but her white dress with lights projected into it and the backdrop that makes me think of hard winds and eye of a snowstorm really add to the image. And she does look like a Disney princess.  Is that all enough to avoid people booing at her, or rather Russia? Time will tell. I personally don't like the song much but I suppose this could end up in top-5 but I hope not....

All of sudden Russia seems a big favorite, according most present in Vienna. Polina has a stunning white dress, a confident performance and good simple staging. And yes, in the backdrop again some space and earth from space. She's got two backing singers and three musicians on stage giving a solid band performance. I still don't like this song, or rather feel anything for it. And it has nothing to do with the fact it is Russia. But, just imagine after Conchita Russia would win? And after Vienna 2015 that sseems to be the most gay friendly Eurovision city ever, even with gay traffic lights, we would be off to Russia next year..... Think about it.
