Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

The best song won in the end, Andrius Pojavis with Something (even if it reminds pretty much of  Highest Heights at parts). The other acts that made the super final, Gerei Gerai & Miss Sheep and Girmanté Vaitkuté were also on the better side of this rather mediocre final. Not sure about the look and performance, but the winning song is quite pleasant. So to speak.... Actually I do like it a lot! And what's his Italian connection?

The Lithuanian national selection has got so far that we had the first semifinal yesterday. The second one will follow next week. Surprisingly this first one's televote was won by an act that didn't even make it through in their heat but was added to the line up by the jury as a wildcard! As usual we only got to know the televote results and the jury vote and who will qualify to the grand final will be announced at later date. International fan favorite Gabrielius didn't impress the Lithuanian televoters. Now that Gerai Gerai & Miss Sheep was already a jury favorite and won over the televoters, too, are we going to see and hear some wardrobe war in Malmö 2012? To be honest I didn't quite get it....
