Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  Sabrina Salerno was Italy's answer to Samantha Fox. If Samantha started with Page 3, Sabrina's way to success was various beauty contest and finally Miss Italia 1984. She didn't win but got jobs in tv and soon became a showgirl in various variety shows. Next step international pop singer,  In Italy she moved to films and theater and is there still, as well as keeping her singing career going with occasional singles. In 2010 she united forces with Samantha Fox for Call me cover.... In Finland Sabrina was very popular and even was the interval act in the 1989 Euroviisut , the national selection for Eurovision song contest. Check out also

  From page 3 topless pics to top of the charts, sometimes the step is short.  Touch me was a #1 in 17 countries and indeed it's a perfect pop tune. I was more hooked on the follow up Do ya do ya (wanna please me) though, and she kept delivering light pop and joined PWL later on, and even tried to get to Eurovision. Summertime is the time for cover versions and remixes. The late 1980's war of the boombs is over when Samantha and Sabrina put their bras together and cover Blondie's Call me in peace and harmony. Amore, chiamami!

Samantha Fox is back with a new single Tomorrow and a new album is coming, too. Other twists of career include coming out as lesbian (actually in Finland it was when it was discovered in sauna with her female manager and... well, never mind!) and new born Christian. Her latest album, release is from 2005 when Angel with an attitude was released in Canada. She has also had time to do a Bollywood movie and various reality TV shows like Celebrity Wife swap.
