Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

The UEFA EURO 2016 foorball circus starts this week on on Thursday night a big concert is to be held to celebrate the opening. And France gives us some of its finest on Champ-de-mars in Paris: David Guetta, Kendji Girac, Louane Emera, Christophe Mae, Florent Pagny, Soprano, Amir and Slimane, the Voice winner are flying the French flag while there will be also Madcon (Norway), Zara Larsson (Sweden) and Will.I.am is the obligatory American in the lot on the foot of Eiffel tower.  The games start the day after with France Vs. France just has announced its Eurovision artists for 2011 and I'm still speechless. They would have so much to offer like these NRJ Music award winners like Joyce Jonathan , the newcomer of the year. Or Jenifer , the female artist of the year beating names like Shy'm and Mylène Farmer . Or the male artist of the year M Pokora . Or Christophe Mae , David Guetta . Or Christophe Willem . Emmanuel Moire . Or almost anybody.... Mind you the opera guy could turn out to be great but I'm a bit sceptical.... And of course the purpose of this post was just to showcase some of my favourite French singers :-)

They're talking about national selection in France, yet there are rumours of internal selection again. What if France sent another internationally succesful act, like Bob Sinclair or David Guetta. I'm personally dreaming of Jeanne Mas, Myléne Farmer, Alizée, Elsa, Vanessa Paradis, Roch Voisine and such but the chances are very slim. So here's a trio of male singers that I think would suit the job well: Emmanuel Moire, Christophe Maé and M.Pokora! Emmanuel Moire already did Sopot festival last year reaching second place.
