Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Well, almost. Now that Azerbaijan has risen up to the Top-5 in beting odds to win it all with Chingiz's Truth they are not holding it back and all tricks are welcome to attire some attention. And when they have a specimen like Chingiz why not strip him and show us the almost whole naked truth? So, they must have been thinking and who can blame them?  Here is the result. Enjoy!  Loreen. A legend for some. A one hit wonder for most. Since winning Eurovision song contest 2012 with Euphoria she has released seven singles. None of them has left the mark really. Her third attempt in Melodifestivalen this year with Statements ended up in a real defeat.  Now she's ready to finally release her second album Nude in August. The lead single is Body . It's... well, like her previous stuff. Okeyish to listen to when it's on but completely forgettable once it's finished.... Pretendious comes to mind. But then maybe I just don't get her. Maybe I never did. Her fans are surely euphoric. Maybe.  Listen in Spotify

Spanish Manel Navarro isn't exactly tipped to win this year's Eurovision song contest, on the contrary. Many are seeing him the one to keep Germany out of the last place for the thrid year in a row! This doesn't encourage him as he tells Attitude magazine he will pose nude for the cover if he wins (he already promised this to a Spanish gay magazine).  He also firmy believes he's got a chance, it's difficutl but not impossible.  Now that's kind of a safe bet..... maybe he only does it for his lover after all? Meanwhile he's napping in his dressing room while waiting for tonight's final with his lovely colorful shirts. This blogger loves them! No kidding! It may be Halloween or ... I don't know what they have been thinking but the guys of Il Volo are sporting a new look for Rolling Stone magazine. Now I want them to perform like this some arias in their next world tour .... Piero Barone is literally someone else with this beard and no glasses..... Proudly Italian Gianluca Ginoble....   ... and proudly something else in this one?

Well, I have been waiting for this. The photos have been online for years. The British rubbish media has made a story of Sergey Lazarev's "fetish porn past". LOL. How funny. Kreml and Putin are apparently very worried and denying their entrant has a lurid past. And trying to get them off internet. Yeah right. LOL. Photos are explicit. Yeah, you can see his bare bum. Reigning Eurovision song contest champion and the host of the next contest in May 2016 in Stockholm Mäns Zelmerlöw bares it almost all in GT following some other Eurovision stars like Blue and Jedward ( see more here ) All for the good cause of course, prostate cancer - something this blogger can also relate having experienced it in my closest circle. Nothing to laugh about.  The annual Naked issue of GT or Gay Times features also several other celebrity men out of their designer fashion and stage or sports outfits. I guess Christmas came early to some fans when they can unwrap their most wished gift already now.... Maybe.  But it's not the first time he gets naked.... he did so when hosting the annual QX Gala some years ago. Who knows what he and Petra have in store for us in May?!

28-year-old Polina started her career in a tv-talent show (just like Måns and Il Volo). After winning it she though joined a girlband before going solo. She managed to release her debut album before marrying and having a child and gaining 20 kilos (to those extra 20 kilos she claims she had back then). The marriage failed, she started her career again, released another album, lost her 40 kilos, dyed her hair blond and had a string of hits and even had time to remarry and show off her new naked body in a men's magazine before she heard a million voices. Now that's a trasformation!

The French Twin Twin may have scored France's first ever last place in the Eurovision with their only two points in the final, but the guys didn't seem to worry that much. They appeared in the French talk show on Sunday night wearing only their socks hiding their privates with the slogan taken from a Celine Dion song: Les derniers seront les premieres . Now that's a good spirit! (Watch it here from 2:33) Having had a bus ride from the Arena back to hotel with these guys I'm not surprised. Oh Yeah!

Slovenia, that luckily decided to take part in Eurovision 2014 after a serious hesitation, has premiered its songs for the final tonight. Was it worth it? Yes. An interesting group of songs and none of them going for the cheesy cheap Eurodisco. Good job. The Slovenian final will take place this Saturday. Enjoy! Nude isn't bad either and this blogger's personal favorite along with Tinkara is Nermin & Samuel.... but round and round we go again, I guess.

Slovenian TV has today published the list of their finalists picked out of 29 artists and 42 songs submitted. There's no Maja Keuc but several other familiar names. Tinkara took part in 1997 , 1999 and 2001 , Samuel 2009 , Nude various times (1999, 2001, 2005, 2007) and Bilbi co-wrote the funny song Kooninchiwa in 2012. Omar Naber won in 2005 with Stop and has tried his lucky again in 2009 with I still carry on . and in 2011 with Bistvo skrito je očem . Rudi took part in 2009 with Alya and Zadnji dan .  Muff had a number one hit in 2012 with Naj sije v oče and are having a hit right now with  Nov dan . I loved Samuel's entry back then so for now he's a front runner for me. His duet partner Nermin is actually from Bosnia. The Slovenian final EMA 14 will take place on March 8, 2014. Last year saw the first edition of The Voice in Finland and several familiar names took part from Waldo's People's Karoliina Kallio to Saara Aalto and this year's UMK hopeful Krista Siegfrids. The season's real winner was Jesse Kaikuranta even if the trophy went to Mikko Sipola. Will this new season feature familiar names as well? So it seems. Saara Aalto's little sister Suvi and Gary Revel Jr and both were picked for the next step. Gary who? Gary Revel Jr is familiar for Eurovision followers as the wildly dancing guy behind Laura Voutilainen in Tallinn 2002. Two years later he took part in duo with Iina and You don't need to go (6th), in 2005 he was back as solo artist with You're a star (4th in his semifinal). In 2006 he was in group SafeSix with Livin' it up and I can't wait . The latter finished 8th in the first round of voting. In 2005 he was involved in a naked photo scandal when his nudies emerged on internet, pics he has taken some ten...

Well, almost. The boys celebrated their 650.000th follower on Twitter by being photographed fresh from shower as promised. It's not the first time they drop their clothes as you see here . Meanwhile their second album is nearly here and the title track Young love is hitting the charts....
