EUROVISION ASIA 2026: BECK FOR MONGOLIA

Mongolia has internally chosen Beck as  their debut at Eurovision song contest Asia. He will perform several songs on the national final show on October 10, 2026 and once again people at home and abroad along with the jury will pick up the song he will perform in Bangkok in November. Beck Munkhbayar is a seasoned entertainer, presenter, actor, model, podcaster and singer in Mongolia having made his singing debut some 20 years ago, and he's been dreaming of doing Euroviison since 2000. Who could have believed just a couple of years ago his dream would become reality and especially for his native country?! Isn't he lucky? Considering his long career it's incredible how little life he has online anywhere, at least in western platforms. Basicly nothing. So let's all be surprised what he's going to offer..... Update: The Mongolian national final took place on October 10, 2026 and it was very 1990's Eurovision national final show type pof a show what came to staging, ...

Six albums so far and nearly 30 singles under her belt she's more than ready for Bangkok 2026. Enjoy below some of her previous hits while we wait for the ESCA 2026 entries: Update: She had her final with five songs and the voting was again what seems to become the Eurovision Asia standard: 40% jury, 40% national vote and 20% international vote. In a sleak show she...

EUROVISION 2026: GEORGIA - BZZZZ..... BZIKEBI RETURN!

It's no secret I'm not a big fan of Junior Eurovision but one song, one winner has left an everlasting mark in my books: Georgia's 2008 JESC winner Bzikebi with their Bzzz. It's just what I think Jesc should be: fun, a bit silly, childish and age appropriate. I don't know what they have been up to in between but last month they re-appeared in Jesc 2025 that was held in Tbilisi as interval act. And from that the step to Vienna was short! They have been interbally chosen by GPB. Their entry On replay was published March 11, 2026: The trio is made of Giorgi Shiolashvili ( გიორგი შიოლაშვილი), Mariam Kikuashvili ( მარიამ კიკუაშვილი) and Mariam Tatulashvili ( მარიამ თათულაშვილი). Back then they were all 10, now 27. Their entry for Vienna 2026 will be revealed later. Meanwhile enjoy some Bzzz below:

EUROVISION 2024 BELGIUM: MUSTII - BEFORE THE PARTY'S OVER

Belgium's RTBF chose its entry internally and was first to announce that they chose Mustii already on August 30, 2023. We had to wait for the release of his song Before the party's over until February 20, 2024 though. Among the songwriters is Pierre Dumoulin, who's co-written already City lights (2017) and Wake up (2019) for Belgium. Another co-writer is Nina Sampermans who's also co-written Would you? (2012) and Tout l'univers (2021) for Switzerland and Bridges (2023) for Estonia.  Mustii - Before the party's over Thomas Michel Mustin (33) is Belgian actor on stage, film and television, and singer with two Top-5 albums to his credit so far. EUROVISION 2023: GEORGIA - IRU PRESENTS ECHO

Last but not least, here comes the very last song for Liverpool's Eurovision song contest 2023. Georgia chose their entrant via The Voice of Georgia and Iru Khechanovi (22) won. Now her entry has been revealed and it's Echo. One cannot compare with yesterday's release or Armenia. Both have fancy expensive looking videos, somehwta original songs but I must say after first hearing I prefer Armenia. Also, I may be tired but I didn't understand about 4/5 of the lyrics of Echo. "We are pedaling".... what? I don't know....

EUROVISION 2023: AZERBAIJAN PRESENTS TELL ME MORE

Another day, another entry. Today it's Azerbaijan's turn to reveal Their entry for Eurovision song contest 2023 in LIverpool and it's Tell me more by TuralTuranX, a song they have written themselves so Azeei tv didn't go shopping around this year, something that they declared already early on in the selection process. Read more here .  I heard the leaked snip earlier today and wasn't very impressed to say the least but now hearing the whole song... Hmm.... It's not so bad, it's kinda sweet after all. A bit beatlesian in a way. Zero Azeri vibes I'm afraid even if they somewhere promised there might be a bit. If they didn't mean their casual wear, I don't know...

EUROVISION 2023: GREECE - VICTOR VERNICOS PRESENTS WHAT THEY SAY

After a lot of drama, attempted lawsuit by the runner up and all that holabaloo it's finally here. Internally selected  What they say, sung by 16-year-old Victor Vernicos.  And I must say it wasn't worth the wait. The song isn't anything special, memorable or catchy or interesting in any way and most of all sounds like some bootleg recording or demo made in the garage. His vocals don't help and one can't really say he'd be singing but mumbling and talking though the song. I'm already scared for the live performance in Liverpool. Sadly this sails straight to my bottom-3. If there's something positive it's not the typical Greek europop by some foxy lady produced in Sweden.

EUROVISION 2023: AZERBAIJAN - TURALTURANX FOR AZERBAIJAN

The last missing piece of the Class of '23 for Eurovision song contest is out: Azerbaijan has confirmed 22-year-old twins and street musicians Turan and Bağmanov from Zaqatala under name TuralturanX for Eurovision. They have written their entry Tell me more themselves, a welcome change from Azeris usually shopping songs from Sweden and elsewhere, and in fact its the first Azeri made song since their debut in 2008! Well done! They were chosen among the five short listed artists internally. The other ones were Azer Nazibov, Humay Aslanova & Amrah Musayev, leila Izzatova and Mamagama.  The song will be revealed later.

EUROVISION 2023: ISRAEL - NOA KIREL PRESENTS UNICORN

She was the first artist announced for the Eurovision song contest 2023 that didn't even have the host city back then yet. Read more here . Few weeks ago the song title was revealed and finally tonight the song, Unicorn.  And.... oh dear what a mess. There's about seven different songs, a real puzzle of ideas thrown together as is the video with different settings and looks that at least with the first viewing have no sense at all. Including that ridiculous Noa as unicorn scene.... Oh my. It's phenomenal indeed but all for the wrong reasons. The first two minutes stick together somehow but then the last minute with that sudden end. Why?

EUROVISION 2023: AUSTRIA - WHO THE HELL IS EDGAR?

Austria has presented this morning their chosen entry Who the hell is Egdar? by Teya and Salena. It certainly is different, somewhat funny, a little bit arrogant and timidly in your face. But is it something I would listen to if not Eurovision? No. Do I like it a lot? No. They say the lurics are clever but what I read about them remains an inner circle criticism or joke and who the hell knows how much Spotify pays to people for example? (Except it's too little)

EUROVISION 2023: SWITZERLAND - REMO FORRER PRESENTS

Another day, another Eurovision entry revealed. Switzerland announced already few weeks ago ( read more here ) that Remo Forrer is the chosen one. The 21-year-old The Voice of Switzerland 2020 winner will sing Watergun  in Liverpool's Eurovision song contest 2023 in May.  With first hearing this is straight to my Top-3. The babyface + manly voice combo is intriguing, the song's arrangement is fantastic, good melody, the lyrics.... What's there not to like? Bravo!

EUROVISION 2023: IT'S BRUNETTE FOR ARMENIA

Armenia has chosen internally, as widely rumored already for some time, Brunette. The young singer has been performing since she was 4 and writing songs since she was a teenager. Now she hopes to follow Rosa Linn's footsteps to global success. Her song will be revealed later but she says it's a new direction to her. Below are some of her songs to enjoy while we wait for The One:

EUROVISION 2023: LA ZARRA FOR FRANCE

France came out all of sudden on January 12, 2023 announcing La Zarra will be representing them in Liverpool Eurovision song contest when fandom was still hoping and waiting for a national selection like the past couple of years. Instead, they went internal again. La Zarra or Fatima Zahra Hafdi (25) is a Canadian-Moroccan singer-songwriter so once again we see a Canadian artist at the contest following footsteps of Céline Dion, Natasha St-Pier and others, as well as Moroccan (Loreen, Bilal Hassani....). She's been around since 2016 and has released a few singles and her debut album in 2021, the title track  Traîtrise becoming a hit and collecting a few awards nominations. Her song for Eurovision will be released later, so below is a something to get to know her:

EUROVISION 2023: JOKER OUT FOR SLOVENIA

Slovenia placed last in this year's Eurovision in their semi-final so they have decided it is a good moment to drop the national final EMA and go internal instead. They have chosen a popular band Joker Out made of Bojan Cvjetićanin (vocals), Jure Maček (drums), Kris Guštin (guitar), Jan Peteh (guitar) and Nace Jordan (bass guitar). They have been playing together since 2016, have released two albums and a string of singles, been nominated and won several awards and done festivals. So, quite a difference to this year's LPS. They describe their music as shagadelic rock'n roll, whatever that means..... Update 4.2.2023: Their song Carpe diem was premiered: Below are a couple of their previous songs. The Eurovision entry will be release in due time...

EUROVISION 2022: NADIR RüSTEMLI FOR AZERBAIJAN

Another internally chosen artist joins the class of Turin 2022: Nadir Rüstəmli (22) for Azerbaijan.  Nadir is the winner of The Voice of Azerbaijan season two, where he competed in the team of Euroviison winner Eldar Gasimov. He even sung in the final his winning entry Running scared . His song for Turin will be revealed in March and is to be picked among the 300 submissions received.  Below are some of his covers:
