ESC 2015 IN VIENNA - DAY 6: CZECH REPUBLIC

One of the most secure vocals and most professional performances for sure. The backdrop features those moving mirrors and images inbetween them and it all comes across stylish and elegant. They sing apart for good two minutes before they meet briefly on stage while Marta throws off her shoes and more color comes in the scene, too, and she runs off again. After awhile circling each other like cats in heat they finally embrace for the final note that by Vaclav is rather horrid. Somehow this reminds me of Finland 2007 musically even if the lyrics are totally the opposite really. I hope they will qualify, but it takes awful long time before nothing happens on stage and the intro is kinda slow and long - will people lose interest before they realize this is actually good?

ESC 2015 IN VIENNA - DAY 3: CZECH THE PERFECTION

True professional take the stage and have no problem delivering a great vocal performance. Both are dressed in black and apparently Marta has problems with her heels and throws them away and goes barefoot - or is it part of the act? Anyways, they look elegant, act like they know it and the backdrop looks very beautiful, too, with vertical lines and mirror like portions that feature clouds and colorful skies. Graceful and elegant comeback! Welcome back, hopefully it leads straight to the final, too! And the song's not about a love story or human relationship in general, it's about Europe. Hope never dies.

ESC 2015 CZECH REPUBLIC: LISTEN TO HOPE NEVER DIES

The audio of Hope never dies , the Czech entry in the Eurovision 2015 by Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta has been released today ahead of the video release tomorrow. All I can say this is the entry Finland should have sent. It reminds me of The Rasmus, HIM, Nightwish.... the genre Finns do best. if only... It will be curious to see how's the visuals in video and how the staging will be... Meanwhile I just have to listen this again... and again.... Welcome to the final for the first time, Czech Republic, the break has done you good!

ESC 2015 CZECH REPUBLIC: MARTA JANDOVÁ & VÁCLAV NOID BÁRTA TO VIENNA WITH HOPE NEVER DIES

Another duo for Vienna 2015. Czech Republic revealed last night they have internally chosen after "going through artists one by one" and have chosen Marta Jandovà (41) and Václav Noid Bárta (35). Marta has been doing career also in Germany, and dueted even with Finnish Apocalyptica ( here ). She is also doing tv-presenter and has lend her voice to many bands. Václav has a past in rock bands, has done a lot of musicals and is also a composer, lyricist and actor. Their song is called Hope never dies , and was chosen among the submitted and invited songs. A jury picked it up without knowing the writers and faith has it - it is written by Václav!
