Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  Isaiah goes round and round on his turntable. Well, a little for some good effects and it all starts in the dark and simple before the images of himself in mirror images start rolling in the backdrop and it all works well (oh well, the crotch images were a bit weird to be honest...luckily we are in the wide camera at that moment) Bubbles of water follow before the rain of fire. Sounds a bit cliché but here it works.  He sings well but maybe the intensivity kinda drifts off after two minutes.... If he captures the cameras well in broadcast Ausssie can celebrate another top-5 finish. Maybe. 

  Also Aussie Isaiah has fallen victim of this rather stupid no socks fashion. But that aside Australia brings again a staging that will lift a song and oerformance. He's on turntable, the backdrop features mostly himself and there are some clever camera tricks and it all works to perfection. If some where doubting Australia's chances they are proven wrong. This is a sure qualifier and Top-10. And the song alone deserves it. 

Pictured is the national flower of Australia, golden wattle Australia has once again chosen internally and this time it's X Factor winner Isaiah. His song Don't come easy is his second single and is written by Anthony Egizil, David Musumeci and Michale Angelo, who also wrote last year's Eurovision song contest runner up Sound of silence . Isaiah Firebrace (17) is of aboriginal roots and he won the 8th Australian X Factor last November, mentored by Adam Lambert and his debut single It's gotta be you charted already in various countries, including Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden. In December he released his debut album and now he's ready for the Eurovision adventure. Considering Australia has placed 5th and 2nd the pressure is on him.... When Isaiah was announced I was thrilled, I was hoping it all along ever since I heard It's gotta be you , that I love and it could have been also good for Eurovision. The initial reaction to Don...

Oh yes, it's Isaiah Firebrace! The one and only I was hoping for and also suspected all along. Sadly he's not bringing his It's gotta be you  that would have been inside the time frame but Don't come easy . But hey, it's great, too, but at first hearing the older one sounded maybe a bit stronger and catchy. Me likes anyways. A lot.
