Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

GWN comes from Kokkola ( questo cittadina è una metà preferita dei turisti italiani in Finlandia, chissá perche? Ed.note ) and is made of four brothers Kiviniemi aged 21-28: Kaj, Mika, Petri and Pasi. And that's not all of the musical family, at home there are five more siblings to enter UMK in the future. They started the band in 2009 and in 2012 they won the Gospel Finnish championships! Their debut single gained airplay in Christian radio stations both in Finland and Sweden. The band is based on honesty, in what they do and between them. Being brothers it's easy to see if someone is not happy or content. The song Flags was born about the current European crisis transferring the feelings to smaller scale. One can always learn and start anew. And if someone wants to call them the Finnish Kings of Leon, they only take it as an honor.  What did the jurors say? Toni Wirtanen : I didn't like this at all when I listened it at home. Jippu is all of sudden everywhere. She's to release her third solo album Väärinpäin lentävät linnut (Birds flying backwards or something...) next week. She caused a stir with her look in a charity concert yesterday and now it's revealed she was cancelled from the artists list on a gospel happening due to her unfortunate comments on a talk show earlier this week where she said things like she's into sin and would do old gents like Silvio Berlusconi. Not suitable stuff for a youth gospel camp it seems. On top of that she's involved in a big political scandal in Finland when a couple that used the raise her for several years in her youth has been sentenced to jail for six and three years this week. Talk about right timing! Here's the title song. Jippu released her debut album Salaisuuksia, joita yksinäiset huutaa unissaan (Secret that the lonely cry out in their sleep) in 2006. She was awarded the Emma as the best newcomers and scored several radiohits. The s...

Carola did a gospel tour in 1994 folloe´wing the release of her award winning gospel album My tribute in 1993. Now the concert is finally available in CD and DVD.  Twelve songs including classics like Oh, happy day and songs from her album like Save the children but also Främling, Mitt i ett äventyr and Fångad av en stormvind are included in a medley . Obviously all three get a nice gospel frosting. Here's Anybody here . There's no doubt gospel where this girl puts her heart to and belts the songs out like there's no tomorrow.
