Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Katerine Avgoustakis has been disqualified as expected from the Greek selection as her song Enjoy the day has been available on internet as a remix too early. Previously Despina Ricci left the race claiming timetable problems while Avgoustakis and her participation and ERT's attitude for it has been strongly critiziced by the other acts. So, she's gone, the game's fair again (or is it?) and at least she now made a name in Greece. Was it all PR after all? What I have heard we didn't lose a lot actually.

ERT has finally confirmed the list of ten artists to take part in the national final in the end of February and this time it is for real, it seems. Most names speculated before are in it, including Katerine Avgoustakis who seems to be the pre-contest favourite and the one to beat. Oikotimes.com claims ERT has come to a final decision and Katerina Avgoustakis, Despina Ricci and either (or both) Kokkina Halia and Professional Sinnerz are the 3 or 4 chosen ones. The official announcement should come today. Maybe.
