Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Sweden will have its melodifestivalen Andra chansen aka second chance tonight. Winners of each duel will join the previously qualified top-2 from each semifinal earlier. Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen is back to this round just like in her debut when she didn't make it. Her Statements didn't quite convince televoters yet. Let's see what happens tonight. This blogger would just leave it here to be honest, if only she wasn't against Hagman... Sigh. Same goes for FO&O, not good at all but better than De Vet Du. Axel beats Lisa in my books easily, and Boris the Swedish washed out version of UMK17's Club La Persé. Anyways, the weakest and most uninteresting Andra chansen in history.... Sweden kicks of its Melodifestivalen tonight, the most overrated and hyped about national selection in the universe. Sure it's great entertainment and show, but what about the music? Oh well... After hearing the one minute snippets from semifinal this is more true than ever before. It's more boring than any other selection I have heard this year from any country. Period. Out of seven songs I only got minimally interested in that one of Nano. The only one I have never ever heard of. Save the best for last indeed. He should win this hands down and become this year's phenomenon and as I have no high hopes for any other act in coming weeks even win the whole damn thing. As usual people will vote two songs straight to the final, two to the second chance round and for the other three it's game over and fight for the place in the charts..... After four semis of Melodifestivalen it's time for the Andra chansen aka Second chance round in Sweden. Songs that placed 3rd and 4th are mixed up here against each other and the winner of each duel continues to the final next week. And this must be the lowest standard of songs ever and as only the winner qualifies for the final things get even more complicated. I kinda like a bit Boris, and then the last duel - for all the wrong reasons. Sadly only one can go further and I hope it's Dollys instead of guys... even if I don't think they can beat those muscles. And on we go with Sweden. Semifinal three tonight. This seems to be the multi ethnic semifinal with some drag show, new talents and Idols winner thrown in.
