Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  Sabrina Salerno was Italy's answer to Samantha Fox. If Samantha started with Page 3, Sabrina's way to success was various beauty contest and finally Miss Italia 1984. She didn't win but got jobs in tv and soon became a showgirl in various variety shows. Next step international pop singer,  In Italy she moved to films and theater and is there still, as well as keeping her singing career going with occasional singles. In 2010 she united forces with Samantha Fox for Call me cover.... In Finland Sabrina was very popular and even was the interval act in the 1989 Euroviisut , the national selection for Eurovision song contest. Check out also

Oh, I loved Spagna. I loved her also in the 90's when she switched eurodisco in English to Italian Sanremo pop in Italian. These days she's balancing between the two and still around, maybe not quite finding the success she used to, but she's been around in a form or another ever since late 60's, including this pearl .
