Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Ok, this is the last (maybe...) look at the Red Carpet that took place yesterday and marked the Eurovision song contest 2017 officially opened. OGAE Italy was there and president Cristina and her team gathered infront of their microphone most everyone. Fantastic job! I just have to share it! Enjoy!        

San Marino announced yesterday its represant for Stockholm 2016 Eurovision song contest. What was said and told, who he is and what the plans are. And most of all why Serhat, a Turk? Below is a round up of what was said. Besides that Serhat was asked about the Turkish return to Eurovision and he said it's up to the national broadcaster who surely has its reasons to stay away, but he hopes his participation will reactivate the fans to ask for a return and meanwhile them and Turkish press will follow him and San Marino instead. No one mentioned it aloud but everybody's of course also thinking the huge Turkish disapora all over Europe for vote for Serhat as well :-) And once again, there will be a little bit of San Marino on stage anyways.... wait and see! Italian OGAE is a very active club and organizes a big get together this time in eternal city Rome, also this blogger's ex-home city and yes, Rome is forever having a piece of my heart. As is OGAE Italy for another reason. The weekend is full of activities and they have two special guests to join them: Roberto Bellarosa and Valentina Monetta . (Now I can honestly say I wish so much to be there! But unfortunately it's impossible...) But if you are around, or just willing to go hop on a plane, train or a car and go! The fun starts Saturday November 9, 2013 at 3.30pm in location of Hotel Eurostars Roma Aeterna . Roberto Bellarosa will surely sing his songs like Je crois,   Reste toi , his Eurovision 2013 entry Love kills (that this blogger liked when no one else did yet...) and his latest release Suivre mon etoile , which is just great! The club members will also take Robertino for a walk in the city for some sightseeing and lunch for some cucina romana with his mother. ...

OGAE Italy is having its annual meeting in Bologna this weekend and the program includes the usual dinners and karaokes with the guest of honor Fabrizio Faniello. He's doing career in Indonesia these days but dreams of Sanremo.... and he has a song running for Eurovision 2013 as well... Great success for Nina Zilli in Bologna where she gave a sold out concert this Saturday after the OGAE Italy convention where she was present in her casual look as you can see in the photo with the hostess and OGAE Italy president, wonderful Cristina Giuntini. The Italian fans got to meet her and had a fabulous evening. Nina's L'amore è femmina tour ends in Turin on May 5th but tomorrow she will be present in Rome's mega open air concert for May 1st. After that the preparations for Baku 2012 will start with full swing. Watch here the highlights of the evening. 

OGAE Italy is organizing a convention in Bologna tonight with Nina Zilli's concert. A lot of effort has been put into this happening and Blogilkar congratulates the club! The convention starts at 5pm with the screening of all the 42 previews and continues with a dinner at 8pm. After that at 10pm Nina Zilli takes the stage in Estragon club and after the concert the night continues with Eurovision tunes. Sounds like fun!
