Tamta's video for Replay featured on Youtube tonight at 8pm. We already hard from the leaked demo and teaser snippet it sounds very much like last year's runner up Fuego . And indeed it does, like a love child of Fuego and this year's withdrawn Siren song from Ukraine what comes to the sound. But Siren song was better than either of these two in my books.... It's a bit weird they go with the such a same recipe (same team and writers) and such similar song. Ok, it worked last year but it's no guarantee it will work again (except among euroboys). The risk is high it will backfire and the juries for example could ignore this totally. And Tamta doesn't seem to have "it something" Eleni and her hair did. But we will see....

Eurovision song contst 2018 winner Netta has finally released a follow up to her victorious Toy , namely Bassa Sababa that is just about as hysterical as the name sounds. Her runner up Eleni Foureira is enjoying success already with her second post-ESC single Tómame after Caramela . Same story for Mikolas Josef who has just released Abu Dhabi , following Me gusta . And Ermal Meta has another duet (following solo effort Dall'alba al tramonto ), this tim with rapper J-Ax. 

As usual these awards were handed out just before the final show and we have three winners. The Marcel Bezençon Award, named after the founder of the Eurovision Song Contest, was first handed out in 2002. The Awards are divided into three categories – the Composer Award, the Press Award and the Artistic Award. Composer Award : Rewarded for the best composition with special consideration given to originality and national identity in music and lyrics: Bulgaria 's EQUINOX with Bones . Press Award: Given to the best song according to the collective vote of the accredited press: France 's Madame Monsieur with Mercy . Artistic Award: Presented to the best artistic performance and voted by the commentators from all countres: Eleni Foureira from Cyprus with Fuego . I totlaly agree with the two of them, but Composer award and "national identity" to Bulgaria that is pure America? really?

Switzerland - ZiBBZ - Stones Off to the bridge we go again and she joins in drumming (think Elitsa & Stoyan) after she's been running around the catwalk and the bridges and climbing over his drumset. Energetic for sure. And Coco's sporting some urban cowboy look and they use torches at one point to empower the shout out moment. Another pre-rehearsals non qualifier joining the game now? Hmmm... Sadly they seem to be only distracting by some reviewers, and some lament the piano lady gets too much air time, too. And it snows when the guys come dancing and holding hands from the bridge. Today also Cypriot song was released and it's maybe even more plastic and standardized radio hit/Eurovision entry to please the fans than I feared. Yawn. There are nice elements but it never gets going really and everytime you think something starts happening it goes down again. Too much time is wasted her posing sexily instead of developing the song. And I am waiting for the live vocals, I am.... I hope she has good backing singers....
