Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

 

After the artists have been revealed in both Big ad Newcomes categories the rumor mill turns its attention to the hosts next to Claudio Baglioni, and the superguests. The names of Francesco De Gregori (66), Gianni Morandi (73)  and Renato Zero (67) seem rather certain, as well as the trio Nek (46), Max Pezzali (50) and Francesco Renga (49) - giving you more "grumpy old men" for your viewing and hearing pleasure.  As for the hosts Michelle Hunziker and Luca Argentero seem to be taken for sure, and now - like almost every year recently - emerges the name of Laura Pausini . If she can hold her own succesful prime time show, a few nights in Sanremo would be a piece of cake and she can do it so let's hope it is true! If Carlo Conti did his most to make Sanremo younger and hip again, Baglioni seems to be bringing back all the old glories but doing so, will he lose the young audiences again? Il Corriere della Sera newspaper seems to be sure it's indeed Emma Marrone and Arisa on stage in Sanremo 2015 next to Carlo Conti , as rumoured for some time now. Tomorrow there will be an press conference by Carlo Conti and the secret will be out officially. It seems Emma has already signed few days ago but Arisa only last Friday. A question of money, it seems. But now both girls are already happily going through the high fashion houses trying to find their dresses for the five nights. Italian fashion world has always welcomed the visibility Sanremo gives but now apparently some are saying they would have preferred the usual top model as hostess - for obvious reasons. Irina Shayk , Cristiano Ronaldo's Russian model girlfriend was rumoured - and would have been perfect addition to the long list of Sanremo vallettes who can't do much else but stroll down the stairs with grace in fabulous dress - but once again money offered by RAI wasn't enough. The first names are out for Sanremo 2011. Gianmarco Mazzi, artistic director gave these names for sure: Nina Zilli, Max Pezzali, Anna Oxa, Roberto Vecchioni and Emma Marrone. Nina Zilli, the moral winner of newcomers 2010 where she came 2nd behind Tony Maiello returns for a revenge. She has had a very succesful year. Max Pezzali, ex-883 debuts as soloist but he did Sanremo already in 1995 with 883. Anna Oxa tries a comeback and this will be her 14th Sanremo. Two victories (one with Fausto Leali though), two second places and nine top-10 placings but her latest participation in 2006 didn't go that well... . Roberto Vecchioni returns after 38 years, his one and only previous participation is from 1973. Emma Marrone, yet another star from Amici talent show will be with group Modá as widely speculated or solo. Another Amici, Alessandra Amoroso is also highly tipped to be there.
