Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Montenegro also has minor changes to their act. One major one is the ending when one of the guys goes to the dancer for an emotional ending.  I don't think I can even bother to finish watching this.... Toilet break.  Yet I wouldn't be surprised if this found its way to the final knocking out some fan wank......

Dark, red and not pleasing the average Eurovision fan. That's Montenegro. Fitting with the song. For some reason the dancer/backing vocalist is put on the spotlight and she pretty much gets the most focus on screen. The real thing text is on display on the floor. Otherwise rather static rock performance with the vocals that are... well, rather challenging I guess. The staging and performance is fitting to the song and not watered down but then there isn't much of a song to start with, and they make most of it. Different for sure, sticks out like a rotten egg among all the glitter and happy colors. Fans in general hate this but what will the European wide audiences do? Hmm.... In the Meet & Greet they tell everyhting is just amazing; the stage, the lighting, the sound.... they have been waiting for this for months. They are very satisfied as they achieved what they wanted. BELARUS - IVAN - HELP YOU FLY (Victor Drobysh/Alexander Ivanov, Timofei Leontiev, Mary Susane Applegate) Alexander Ivanov aka Ivan won the Belarusian national final and has since launched the most succesful PR campaign with his promises of being naked and with live wolves on stage, something that has made it to all sort of medias all over the world.... Genious! Blogilkar: Ivan has the best PR stunt of the season; news about his tendency for nudism has reached the world press in a way nothing else this year. The song is a light rock number, rather anonymous and unmemorable so any stunt, be it nakedness or wolves - or even a mention of either of them will help it as I would like to know how many commentators will remind viewers of his plans! Today's second entry comes from Montenegro. Douwe Bob for the Netherlands was the very first artist to be known for 2016 and Montenegro's Highway the second. Meanwhile Highway trio has gained one for member and their entry is here. A lot of noise for nothing. At least it's different. Just like Georgia.... 

Bojan Jovović, ex-No Name has joined Higway, the trip (Petar Tošić, Luka Vojvodić and Marko Pešić) that is going to represent Montenegro in the Eurovision song contest 2016 in Stockholm. It seems they needed some vocal power and experience in their Eurovision adventure that they want to do the best way possible. Bojan is joining also them for the recording of their album so it seems the band is a quartet now on for real.... It's worth remembering No Name also won the Serbia & Montenegrin national final also in 2006 in rather controversial way that ended with the country pulling out from the contest and then falling apart altogether.
