Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  Miguel Bose is a curious case. The Spanish-Italian-Colombian-Panaman musician, singer and actor, a hybrid of a Spanish bullfighter and Miss Italy 1947 whose household was filled by people like Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hewingway started his career as a teenager. I got to know him thanks to his Italian compilation album Bravi ragazzi in 1982. I have kept an eye on him ever since but it would be only in 2007 and 2012 when I reconnected with him again thanks to Papito and Papitwo . Check out also:

Sanremo has its special night tonight. While the competition continues for the remaining newcmers and those Big in risk of elimination the other Big take it easy and perform something else. I am most curiously waiting for Bravi's take on Battiato and Zarrillo's Bosè! I have never been a huge fan of duet albums, and/or albums with remakes of old songs, something rather typical for Italian artists but now there's coming an album I can hardly wait! It seems like a real piss-your-pants material! Luca Carboni celebrates his 30th anniversary in business with an album with a few new songs and reworked versions of his old hits with guest stars. Nothing special here, is it? But then when you look at the guests, it turns into a wet dream: Alice, Franco Battiato, Tiziano Ferro, Elisa, Cesare Cremonini, Biagio Antonacci. .. it's like a reunion of my favorite singers! Add Miguel Bosé, Jovanotti, Samuel Bersani and Fabri Fibra and that's the album I can hardly wait for! Daniel Diges, the Spanish entrant in Oslo 2010 has a lot of experience as a stage artists but now thanks to winning the Spanish selection with Algo pequeñito he finally got to record his first album to be released shortly. The producer and arranger for it is five time Grammy winning Oscar Gómez (collaborations with Chayenne, Julio Iglesias, Ana Belen, Roberto Carlos and Miguel Bosé just to name a few) and Daniel has written most of the songs himself with some covers from Michael Bublé, Billy Joel and Robbie Williams. I think Daniel's lovely waltz will the dark horse....

Natasha St-Pier releases her first greatest hits Tu Trouveras... 10 ans de success after ten years and 5 albums (or 14 years and 6 albums if you include Émergence ). The title track Tu trouveras is also my favourite track from her even if many might prefer her Eurovision entry Je n'ai que mon ame . She also recorded it in Spanish with Miguel Bosé . She has already released a new song from the album, L'Instant T . And that pretty much closes the speculations she would be making a come-back on Eurovision stage in Oslo 2010.
