LITHUANIA: IF YOU HAVE RAIN OF REVOLUTION IN YOUR HEART: VOTE FOR FUSEDMARC

Fusedmarc of Lithuania has rain of revolution in their hearts and wishes you happy Eurovision! (If you feel revolutionary, too: Vote!)

ESC 2017 KYIV - DAY 7: LITHUANIA SECOND REHEARSAL

Fusedmarc is all red. A lot of red. Waving around, pumping up. The heartlike, as in organ, pulsating ting spreading red spray all over looks pretty awesome and the horns are groovy. She gives it all and is convincing in what she does. She has another red dress on with black trousers underneath it seems. This is very energetic and she's acting less crazy it seems. For the first time I'm thinking about this seriously: this could qualify really. This kinda captures you and if people watching are bored enough already this might wake them up..... Hmm.....

ESC 2017 KYIV - DAY 4: LITHUANIA FIRST REHEARSAL

Fusedmarc also keep the original staging. It's all red with the circle of fire. Her dess is red. The only difference is the four hand clapping chorists are on stage clearly visible for a change. The song is what it is - one of those I can't get a hold of. I don't hate or even dislike it. I'm just a bit indifferent to it. But live it works somehow and it's after all maybe kinda enjoyable even.

ESC 2017 REVIEW - LITHUANIA (37): FUSEDMARC - RAIN OF REVOLUTION

Pictured is Lithuania's national flower rue Fusedmarc won the 11 week long national selection process starting as an outsider but getting better results every time they performed (4th, 3rd, 1st). In the final they won both the televote and the jury vote resulting in a convincing win and leaving the fan favorites home. Their song Rain of revolution is written by Denis Zujev, Viktoria Ivanovskaja and Michail Levin. Fusedmarc is an alternative electric pop group with a strong visual image made of lead vocalist Viktorija Ivanovskaja, multi-instrumentalist Denis Zujev, and visual designer Stasys Žakas. Their debut album - and the only one so far it seems - was released in 2005 and earned them an award as the breakthrough artist of the year. Other awards have followed and they seem to be considered some kind of pioneers in what's fresh and new in music in Lithuania. Over the years they have performed all over Europe. The song is a strong contrast to how the band descri...

LITHUANIA: IT'S FUSEDMARC FOR EUROVISION 2017

Lithuania, I don't get you. You had some goodies to choose from and we get this? I fail to see what's so original and fresh about it, like apparently described by the jurors. Oh well.... And Aisté again 2nd... Must be frustrating.... My winners remains Gabrielius and Greta.... 1. Fusedmarc - Rain of revolution (juries 12+televote 12=24) 2. Aisté Pilvelytè - I'm like a wolf (8+10=18) 3. Kotryna Juodzeviciute - Love shadow (10+7=17) 4. Gytis Ivanauskas - Get frighten (4+8=12) 5. Gabrielius Vagelis - Feel myself free (7+4=11) 6. Greta Zazza - Like I love you (6+5=11) 7. Paula - Let U go (5+6=11)

LITHUANIA: EUROVIZIJOS SEMIFINAL TONIGHT

After eight weeks and shows later we have finally reached the semifinal stage in Lithuania. Phew. Half the entries will be eliminated tonight after jury and televote compined votes.  I suppose Aisté does Claudia and wins with her 9th attempt finally, but I'm #teamGabrielius and #teamGreta . As long as these three are through it's all fine for me.  Incredible but true, in the end this Lithuanian semifinal is one of the best and most interesting of the season! At least they have more than one worthy song lined up! Who would have thought an eternity ago when it started....;-p Sasha Song - Never felt like this before Aisté Pilvelyté - I'm like a wolf Ieva Zasimauskaité - You saved me Greta Zazza - Like I love you Fusedmarc - Rain of revolution Gabrielius Vagelis - Feel myself free Paula - Let U go Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė - Love shadow
