Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Eurovision acts have always been rather creative with merchandise from Belarusian vodkabottles to Swedish boxers and some less memorable items. Especially the eastern countries have been rather generous with them... Even though the economical situation everywhere may have ut a stop to that, some countries are not even giving away any promos not to mention any other stuff. This year Macedonia has decided to use the money ment for promos and stuff for something else instead: they both an incubator for premature babies in Skpje hospital, but that's another story. Azeris instead have all sort of things from jackets to pencils. No carpet this year though....

The line of merchandise is ready and available next week in the official eurovision shop here . There are the usual t-shirts, mugs, pins, iPhone covers and all the rest, and as a new thing (I think...) the luggage tag that I think is a very nice addition to the line! And how could you live without an Vienna 2015 pillow?!  The CD including all the 40 songs will be physically released on April 17 in some markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia and Benelux) and April 20 in the rest of Europe. The digital release to download is a week before but only for the whole album. You can only purchese separate tracks after the physical CD has been released. The CD includes the official Eurovision 3 minute and/or bilingual versions of Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Romania and Greece that haven't been (mostly) available to purchase yet. Update: The DVD will be released on June 22 including as usual the three shows and some bnus material. 

Emma Marrone is in the middle of The Limited Edtion Tour and has declared the following: "I want to be Pope so I could give gays the possibility to marry  and adopt many children!"   At the same time the rumours about her possible sapphic relations emerge again.... She's also gone totally wild with self irony with ther merchandising as you can buy t-shirts with texts like "Mi vuoi morta? Fai la fila..." (You want me dead? Get in line...) and basketball jerseys with "Brown 21" written on them, celebrating her 21st place in the Eurovision.... I think I kinda like that.... Her tour debuted last night in Verona and contiues in Lucca the 11th, in Padua the 19th, in Gallipoli 22nd, in Taormina the 26th and ends in Naples the 28th.

Krista Siegfrids and her Team Ding Dong have released some merchandise for you to wear and show that you are ding dong, too.
