Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Another Eurovision winner duet, with third placed Paula Seling though. Norway meets Romania in this  I'll show you . This makes me think of old French songs instead for some reason. Paula gets to belt out some high notes and Alexander gets to play his violin.... No further comment.

They played with fire last year and scored third place in Oslo 2010, Romania's best to date (along with Let me try in 2005) so the Eurovision fever in the country is high. The voting is 50-50 jury-televoe and the jurors and hosts are also going to give a miniconcert during the night - after all you have five hours to fill, don't you? Btw, the Finnish viisukuppila's minipoll mostly agrees with me putting Bang bang on top followed by Change, I want u to want me, Dreaming of you, Open your eyes, It's so fine, One by one and Cinema love . The 60th Sanremo, il Festival della canzone Italiana starts next Tuesday, February 16. Antonella Clerici is conducting the five night event. As usual there are also several foreign guest stars to spice up the nights and in 2010 we will have Susan Boyle, Tokyo Hotel and Robbie Williams for sure, and Jennifer Lopez is "almost certain". As always the songs by the Big are not heard beforehand but the new ones, La nuova generazione has been widely made available on internet beforehand. You can listen to the ten finalists here . The jury who picked up the songs and artist to Sanremo Nuova Generazione 2010 snobbed all Eurovision artists. We won't see Miodio, Roberto Melodi, Claudia Faniello or Paula Selig in the stage of Teatro Ariston. Instead these eight will join previously selected Jacopo Ratini and Romeus, chosen from 988 entries! One can only wonder how they managed to find such middle of the road dullness! I would say Nicolas Bonazzi and Nina Zilli are the only ones I care to relisten....
