SANREMO 2018 FASHION: BLACK IS BACK. BIG TIME

Last look at the Sanremo fashion but sadly it didn't bring anything new to the scene in the final night. Michelle Hunziker wore again Giorgio Armani Privé, like in the first night, and black dominated with the exception of one dress that was kind of nude/rose gold/bronze/whatever color highlighting her boobs.  The other ladies continued with some color; Annalisa in her nude/beige color (one can't say that dress is pretty), Ornella Vanoni continued with class and style wearing the same dress by Antonio Riva every night - tonight in dark blue. Nina Zilli in heer Vivianne Westwood white lace creation was elegant as always while guest star Fiorella Mannoia and Noemi opted for black. The men also had some effort for the final night but it was all black and red with some white - like if they were the only colors in the world judging Sanremo this year - so Fabrizio Moro's green jacket was a welcome sight. The only one feeling a bit spring and light was Lo Stato Social...

ITALY: SANREMO AND FASHION - NOT SO MUCH BUT MICHELLE WEARS MADE IN ITALY

Sanremo used to back in the day also a placee to check coming trends and latest fashion. A place to see the colors that wil be next summer's fashion and so on. But world changes and it's not so much anymore so. Or what can you made up from last night's fashion statements? Mostly boring boring boring... Michelle Hunziker has chosen to wear all Made in Italy: Last night and Saturday's final she wears Armeni privé, tonight Alberta Ferretti, Thursday Trussardi and Friday Moschino.... No doubt she looks good in everything and being the hostess, can permit high fashion. The only four female of the festival wore only black and white the first night. Annalisa and Noemi rather casual, while Nina Zilli sported a more searched look while La Vanoni something suitable for her age..... Most of the men were also in black and there's not much to say. Black with more or less added rock. Blue for Caccamo, green for Diodato, red for Red and colorful Indian dresses f...

SANREMO 2016: ONE BIG RED CARPET OF FASHION

Sanremo is not only music and songs. It's also one of the biggest fashion shows in Italy. One can describe it five day long red carpet where all designers want to be. This year is no exception. We know that Carlo Conti will trust Salvatore Ferragamo once again with one new suit for every night. It has taken three months to make them.... Madalina Ghenea is this year's "model" and has 15 dresses ready for the five nights from Alberta Ferretti , who has privided five of them, then she wears Vionnet and Libanese Zuhair Murat . Virginia Raffaele has kept mysterious about her choices but she's wearing different designers every night. Gabriel Garko has chosen Gianni Battistoni and he will be wearing suits inspired every night by different legendary movie stars: Paul Newman, Marcello Mastoianni, Gary Crant, Marlon Brando and Sean Connery. Nicole Kidman is a star of such calibre she can keep Giorgio Armani and Chanel waiting whose dress she will eventually choose...

ESC 2015 IN VIENNA - DAY 7: ITALY OOZES ELEGANCE AND CONFIDENCE

Italy opened the first rehearsal for the Big5 & co this morning. Il Volo's song is a classic piece in belcanto tradition so what would be more fitting than some Ancient Rome statues in the background (replacing the angels seen in Sanremo). The trio looks handsome in their Armani suits and all this oozes Italian elegance and style - in a good way. It also seems they charmed the pants off the media in the press conference besides being determined to bring the trophy back to Italy. Some reviewers ae though worried about the camera shots and the guys singing to the arena instead of us at home, something very typical to Sanremo btw, but I am sure they will sot it out in the next rehearsals. Turin 2016 here we come!

ESC 2015 ITALY: IL VOLO - WE WILL BRING EUROVISION BACK TO ITALY!

Il Volo was in a live chat with TVSorrisi e Canzoni , the biggest entertainment magazine in Italy and here below in short are the main things. They talk about Sanremo, Eurovision, their travels, future plans, new album, Woody Allen and a lot more. And yes, they promise to do all they can to bring Eurovision back to Italy! Dressed smart in Armani!

SANREMO 2015: FASHION - IT'S ALL ABOUT BLACK, RED AND WHITE

Sanremo is also about fashion. I'm afraid the colors last night were not there - except for Chiara's yello Stella McCartney dress, and Malika's tile red. All men in black but Nesli in blue. All the rest seemed to be black and white.  Even the three hostesses Emma, Arisa and Rocio. With red. A lot of red. Rocio was wearing Giorgio Armani Privé, Emma Francesco Scognamiglio and Arisa Daniele Carlotta. Fashion polices seem to have not been so pleased. Rocio got applause but was critized by playing the Spanish look card a bit too much. Emma was named burlesque pride in the white dress but the black one showing some skin was maybe the best of the evening. Arisa got it all wrong in styling. She's been a disater before but this time she has exploded, in fashion sense..... I kinda agree, do you?

MIRO'S SENSATION OF LOVE IN ROME

Miro + Emporio Armani + Rome + nice retro pop song... there are already four things this blogger likes and indeed, Bulgarian Miro seems to have made a sponsor deal with Emporio Armani, a label I used to wear a lot when living in Italy, and he has gone all the way to Rome where I used to live to shoot his latest music video for Sensation of love , that showcases the usual sights but in a very nice, not so obvious way. On top of it it's very beautifully shot. And the song itself has a nice retro feeling to it, very 80's a la Gazebo, me thinks. There's even a nice use of the Roman church bells in the intro. Great stuff!  (How many sights and EA logos can you spot?)
