Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

OGAE Germany is having its annual convention tomorrow in Cologne. The special guests for the night are Croatia's Igor Cukrov and Germany's Oscar Loya from Moscow 2009 as well as Hera Björk who has been backing the Icelandic entries both 2008 and 2009 , almost won in Denmark this year and is highly actual in the Icelandic 2010 selection as well. Germany's Alex swings, Oscar sings have released their debut album Heart4sale. They only managed 20th place in Moscow. Even Dita von Teese's participation didn't help them, which is a shame as I think the song deserved a bit more than that. Dita on the other hand, who has no glue what Eurovision is beforehand, was amazed by the show, it is reported. However she was also outraged for the low placing for her and Germany. She was seen backstage having a diva fit before cooling down and heading for Cannes Film festival for a "private show".... Oscar, another American told he thought the Big4 status was rather artificial and would have rather started from the same line with the others, probably meaning the lack of performing to the masses before the final itself. This is something you won't see tonight on live show. EBU has asked Dita von Teese to keep her nipples to herself tonight. In the first rehearsal yesterday she still showed her breats with just nipples covered with jewelry but obviously that was too much for EBU for understandable reasons. After all this is a family show even if various Svetlanas may do any movements they want to on stage - as long as they are more or less covered.... Go Miss Kiss Kiss Bang, show them!!!

The secret German weapon Dita von Teese has arrived....

Germany is in for a good show indeed. Oscar sings very well and the whole thing swings nicely. Can't wait to see Dita tease it when she arrives next week. Things have been changed a bit on stage and it looks much better and solid now. Miss Dita von Teese wasn't in the house yet but apparently she will be doing just a short cameo by the end of the song and ending up on a lips shaped rodeohorse. Must be fun! I loved the staging and the colors, Oscar sings well and even if I felt some sort of laziness in the rehearsal today they have all the right incredients for a memorably performance and a song with the Bang! factor. Alex Christiansen featuring Oscar Loya or rather Alex Swings Oscar Sings with 4 Worte à 4 Buchstaben: Miss Kiss Kiss Bang or rather just simply Miss Kiss Kiss Bang will be the German entry in Moscow 2009. Confusing? Let's see under which name they will go in the end. Oscar is practically unknow. He was born in California but lives now in Munich and is recording his debut album. Alex C is a producer behind for example U96's megahit Das Boot . The song will be presented officially February 21.
