Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

The Norwegian Golden final was going very bad for me but all is fine that ends fine :-) Plumbo, Nora Foss al-Jabri and the dreadful country duo Petter Øien & Bobby Bare made it to the second round with Tooji and I was already losing my faith in Norwegians, especially when Nora took an early lead.... The things started rolling in the right directing anf Tooji's Stay emergend as a winner. Norway continues with the multi-ethnic entries so dear to that Mr B whose name I don't even want to write. Many have compared Stay to Popular that took Sweden to the 3rd place last year. I think this one's better. 1. Tooji - Stay   155.480 2. Nora Fos al-Jabri - Somewhere beautiful  90.046 3. Norway had its first semifinal and even if I had only an half eye on it while watching the Danish final I could pick up my favourites. Or the favourite. And it made the final, namely Reidun with High on love , a mix of Sarah Dawn Finer and Charlotte's Hero , and look who's behind it? Yes, G:son. I was also pretty certain The Carburators would make it and had my ear on Rudi Myntevik, Lisa Stokke or maybe Kim André Rysstad on the third place but no, it went to Nora Foss Al-Jabri . Actually she was the winner tonight. Beautiful song indeed but I didn't find it that interesting, has to relisten to it I think.
