Nicely shot action video that leaves no doubt who's their sponsor....  Oscar Wilder, whoever he is, is having the gimmick of having his (apparently) ex-lover Valerio Pino naked in his video Vuelve . And who is Valerio? Apparently Ricky Martin 's ex-boyfriend or so he claims. A self declared Dio dell'Amore who gets his nutrition of scandal mags. The song itself is kinda nice nonsense for summer. And summer gossip. From Hungary comes Rebstar featuring András Kállay-Saunders in All night . It has something of Marvin Gaye 's Sexual healing going on....

Well it sounds a bit better and maybe the staging works somehow but it still is a very bland offering. Whoever found those shirts for the dancer boys should be fired and Josh looks like a schoolboy in a suit and it all just isn't that great. The boxes make me think of Madonna's Human nature video but this is the kindergarten version of that and thus very boring. Video .

For me this is the worst song this year. Not that is so bad. Just because it is so bland. At least Ukraine and Slovenia create some emotions in me, even dislike if nothing else but this.... Zero impact. The staging is kinda nice I guess - even if I was hoping those long legged ladies in hotpants and those ridiculous t-shirts from the national final would reappear - and UK nails this year's fashion trend for the ladies: shower curtain dresses (so Carola 1992). BBC has released a video for Josh's This sounds good to me in its revamped version. It still sounds dull to me. Or if possible even duller than the original. I always thought the purpose of a remix was to make a song stronger, highlight its better bits and in general add some oomph to it. This proves me I was wrong. Yawn . This also makes me wonder the sense of Big4 as this gets to the final kicking out something way better.... :-( But that's not Josh's fault.

What an earth happened in the UK? When Josh Dubovie was selected to perform the Stock-Waterman penned That sounds good to me everyone kinda accepted it as a quickly made demo and were expecting something great when the final mix comes out. And here it is. Slower and duller than ever. And it's not Josh's fault. What were you thinking, who you finalized the track? I wonder if UK can make it out from the Bottom4 with this...? Yawn.
