Previous Eurovision participant Sasha Song (2009 with beautiful and underrated Love )  is at it again in Lithuania, both solo and with Donatas Montvydas who likes to call himself Donny Montell these days. Also he is offering a solo effort called Let me which isn't bad at all! Are they really best friends as the song makes us believe or rivals? Also some other familiar names amongst the semifinalists who will have to qualify from three semifinals before the grand final. From each three semifinals 3 songs will qualify and later be added by two wildcards, one from LRT and one from Zebra website. Lithuanian Tv has also announced its semifinalists now that they are taking part after all. Several familiar names in the list again, including 2009 winner Sasha Son (didn't he hate it in Moscow after all?) and Helsinki 2007 entrants 4Fun. Other familiar names from the previous national selections include Amberlife, InCulto, Donatas Montvydas, Aistë Pilvelytë, Laiptai if my memory doesn't fail me. Included once again is also Ruslanas Kirilkinas of the Finnish Idols and gayporn fame with a song title that makes me throw up a little in my mouth.On the other hand Aiste is trying something like the 8th or 9th time since 1999.... let her win! Lithuania started today's rehearsals and changes were made to the presentation it seems. It remains to be seen if the changes are enough and satisfactory for the Lithuanian team. That all put aside the song is beautiful and Sasha Son sings great. With his suit and usual hat is has become a modern time Frank Sinatra kind of thing but that's not necessarily bad. Lithuania's ballad comes in a right spot between up tempo numbers and stands out the way it deserves. Sasha Son sings very well, the song is huntingly beautiful and he seems honest and full of luv. The only gimmick is a fire in his hand in the end of the song. Sometimes less is more. Absolutely beautiful and hopefully a qualifier.
