Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Lena Philipsson 's divorce hasn't been a nice one and she's been through some rough times. Due to this she has cancelled her participation in Tomas Ledin 's 60th anniversary concert next Tuesday in Skansen, Stockholm. that will be broadcasted live on SVT. "She's not ready to meet the TV cameras and the media interest yet" her publicists told the press. Tomas Ledin himself told he has talked to her and is sad she can't make it but understands fully. The other guests, among others Niklas Strömstedt , Eva Dahlgren and E-Type will be there.  Let's hope she can get herself together for the Pride concert on August 4, 2012!

Lena Philipsson has been one of the artists in this season's Så mycket bättre where artists cover each other's songs in a reality show. And Lena has delivered a real gem with Laleh's Live tomorrow . Other songs she did were Tomas Ledin's Sensuella Isabella and Eva Dahlgren's Jag klär mig naken , just to name a few. How about Lena's songs? Tomas Ledin did Dansa i neon , Laleh did På gatan där jag bor , Mikael Wiehe Om igen , Eva Dahlgren Standing in my rain , E-Type Kärleken är evig and Timbuktu Det gör ont . Here's Laleh's original . Which is equally great!

As we know it's going to be a very busy autumn for Lena Philipsson. August 9 she will be presenting her new single, a follow up to Idiot in Allsång på Skansen . September 29 her new show will premier in Circus in Stockholm. More details on that have been recently revealed. There will be six characters and it all happens in Lena's dream, so that's why it's called Lena's dream show. On the other hand she has said it's her dream show also as it is something she has always wamted to do. There will be dancers, singers and musicians with her taking us through her already long career performing her own hits along with other songs on a stage that will be built in the middle of the audience. Besides all that she will be on TV in Gäster med Geste r and Så mycker bättre with Tomas Ledin, Eva Dahlgren and E-Type.
