Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Let's continue the series and kill some time having a look at the last decade and see who were the Top-10 best scoring countries in the Eurovision song contest in the past ten years. The ways to calculate are many and here I have used the simple average placement method (and it's not all so serious). Next up is Denmark at n.o 8. They have been doing constantly pretty well except two non qualification in between compensated by a win and additional three top-10 finishes in this decade.   Latvia - Carousel - That night *** One of the underdogs. Nobody seems to like this song but I find it relaxing and a lot more real than several other here. The staging is minimal and quite beautiful and fitting and if they manage to ooze some emotion and realness to this come voting time we might have a shock qualifier also thanks to Latvian diaspora. Leonora (Colmor Jepsen, 20) has won the Danish Melodi Grand Prix 2019 and therefor represants her country in Tel Aviv Eurovision with Love is forever , a little happy tune that deeclares love is forever in several languages. She entered the super final after 50-50 televote-jury vote and scored 42% of the televotes in the second round. She's also is multiple Danish Junior Champion in ice skating.
