Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Well, it's really  Ozan Doğulu feat. Ajda Pekkan & Kenan Doğulu singing Harika , that translates as Great . Ozan is Kenan's brother who shook it up worth of a fourth place in Helsinki 2007 with Shake it up,  Şekerim . He was and has stayed in top ever since. The brothers are joined by the original Turkish s ü perstar Ajda Pekkan who hasn't aged a bit since her 1980's Pet'r Oil . This trio offers a sing-a-long summer hit with a touch of the 1980's that sticks to your head with some added oriental flavor. This bloggers approves highly. They have also had a chance to perform it live . 

Last week I skipped weekly videos as I simply forgot, I admit. Blame it on the Eurovision cruise (scroll down for news)! Too much of a good thing can make you forget other things :-) Anyways, this week we start with Steve Grand , the internet phenomenon of the summer 2013 with his All American boy . He has released a new song and video, Stay , and if the love story with the all American boy didn't work out, this time it's all kisses & hugs! Dima Bilan has yet another video and hit in his hands with Малыш - Malysh . LOVEX was a fan favorite in the Finnish national selection 2007 with Anyone, anymore . Since then it's been quite quiet but now they are ready for comeback with Don Juan . Do you think they can make it? Kenan Doğulu is still shaking it after all these years and enjoying great success. Kız Sana Hayran is one of this latest efforts.

Four Turkish Eurovision stars in today's special videopost. Sertab Erener is back with new material and Bir Çaresi Bulunur Elbet is the lead single. Kenan Doğulu's summer hit was Şans Meleğim while Ajda Pekkan's another single of her latest success album is Arada Sırada  and there are various remixes as well, like this .  Hadise released Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer earlier this year.

Kenan Doğulu has released a second video from his latest album Patron, Aşkkolik . It is very different from his Helsinki 2007 effort Shake it up, shekerim . I like it. A lot. He has had time to collaborate also with Bora Uzer in Bundan Sonra Böyle .

As the trend has been the past few years the Eurovision stars and winners are also nominated in the MTV Europe Music Awards in various countries. Previous winner Helena Paparizou is running for the best Greek act, and another previous winner Dima Bilan is after his 5th consegutive win as the best Russian act but faces the competition of national finalist Sergey Lazarev . Kenan Dogulu who came 4th in Helsinki 2007 for Turkey is nominated for the best Turkish act and finally Lovebugs that didn't bite so well in Moscow 2009 is looking for a revenge as a possible best Swiss act. Vote in respective websites. The 2009 MTV Music awards takes place in Berlin on November 5, 2009.

Kenan Doğulu who came 4th in Helsinki 2007 Eurovision with Shake it up sekerim released a 4-cd of his biggest hits and mixes a month ago under title The King of Turkish pop .
