Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Italian X Factor winner and most likely Eurovision 2011 entrant Nathalie climbs to #2 in iTunes charts with In punta di piedi . The other finalists Davide with Il tempo migliore , Nevruz with Tra l'amore e il mare and Kymera with Atlantide have also released their debut EPs but none other is yet in the top-10

The fans in Italy are seeing signs in the air as next Tuesday one of the remaining acts in Italian X Factor Kymera will perform Gianni Morandi's Eurovision entry Occhi di ragazza , Eurovision winner ABBA's Winner takes it all and previously unreleased song Atlantide by Eurovision entrant Enrico Ruggeri. Only a coincidence or are they hinting something? Also, Sanremo 2011 host Gianni Morandi will be the guest of the show...  Kymera are Davide and Simone, a real life gay couple since 2004 who have previously sung Frozen , Polvere , Shock the monkey , and Maria . Undoubtly a very interesting act that might cook up something very sclassy and uitable for Eurovision stage.... But there are still three other acts in the game and Italy's return to Eurovision is not have been confirmed yet officially.

Eurovision fans in Italy must have given a long sigh of relief when Stefano Filipponi was finally kicked out of X Factor and therefor for sure won't go to Eurovision - if the winner actually does go there. He ended up in duel with Kymera, the real life gay couple and lost. Nevruz Joku, Nathalie Giannitrapani and Davide Mogevero are still in the race, too.

It looks like the Italian X Factor is not going well this year. Televote kicks out the real singers while those who might be likable for other reasons, or simply strange personalities instead of having creditable vocal capacities. This time in duel Dorina loses to duo Kymera. Also with the exit of Dorina there's no singers left in Female under 24 category! Also Kymera is the last group in the race.  Some fans are worried that if Italy really will return to Eurovision and with the X Factor winner they will end up sending something "horrible" that will score very badly in Europe and Italy will be out again for a decade or two...
