EUROVISION 2019: THREE TIMES FINLAND IN THE FINAL

Finland's Darude feat. Sebastian Rejman may have not made it to the final, but Finland is well present anyways. Sweden may have their songwriters, producers and dancers all over the place but Finland has its special effects, pyros and rains of fire. Oy Pyroman Finland is again behind most of all that, just like they were in Helsinki 2007, Belgrade 2008, Moscow 2009, Malmö 2013, Stockholm 2016, Kiev 2017 and now Tel Aviv 2019, and of course they were behind the most pyroesque performance ever in the Eurovision history, namely Lordi's winning performance in Athens 2006. But that's not all. The secret fourth member of KEiiNO from Norway is songwriter-producer Henrik Tala . A Finn.  And Ambra Succi , despite her name another Finn, is behind Malta's performance for Michela. She's no newbie either having done that for Jana Burceska, Poli Genova, Robin Stjernberg and most notably Loreen's winning performance. Among others.

ESC 2016 BULGARIA: FINNISH CHOREOGRAPHER FOR POLI GENOVA

Ambra Succi, the Finnish choreographer who helped Loreen to victory is this year behind Bulgaria's Poli Genova's act, togeher with Bulgarian Milen Dankov. Over the years she has worked with many other Eurovision and Melodifestivalen acts from Robin Stjernberg to Danny Saucedo.  Last year she did Azerbaijan's Elnur's choreography. She has lived in Finland, Italy and New York before settling in Stockholm. Finlandswede mom, Italian father, dance schooling in Finland, New York and Stockholm, performances from the Royal family's events to Nobel Prize ceremonies, teaching in Finland and in Japan she's pne of the top names in the industry. She even has her own dance school in Stockholm. Will she help Bulgaria to qualify? She says she liked to take risks, and doesn't go for the most obvious and simple.

ESC 2015 IN VIENNA - DAY 4: AZERBAIJAN'S WOLVES

This is one of those I have waited the most to see. One of my top songs and amazing singer, and Azerbaijan usually puts up a great show. And this year as always they have hired the best; the dancers are the winner of UK's So you think you can dance Lukas MacFarlaine from Canada and French Julia Spiesser and choreographer is Finnish-Swedish Ambra Succi, already behind Loreen. What could go wrong? I don't know, but this seems to be getting a bit mixed reactions. It's quite darl, we are in a scary forest with lunar eclipse, the wolfes are dancing around.... maybe a bit too much distracting from Elnur. Well, we have to wait and see how it looks on telly then. The song's great!

BAKU 2012: THE NORDIC PARTY with Pernilla, Loreen, Tooji, Jónsi and Greta

Tonight's the official red carpet opening ceremony but last night among the many parties was that of Norway together with Finland, Sweden and Iceland. The party was organized to celebrate also Norway's Independence Day. Alexander Rybak was present, too, and performed to the guests. Pernilla was there of course and was kissed by Tooji and had a long chat with Jónsi while her cellist Heikki had a lot to talk with Greta, who has earlier stated Finland is one of her favourite songs this year.  Pernilla and Loreen also met for the first time and managed to change a few words. In Swedish of course!  Surprisingly we learned from Tooji that he is working with Finnish writer and producer Teemu Brunila for his album and one song, Swan song is already out there. He knows well also Jenni Vartiainen and says he's a big fan of hers! But not only Tooji has a Finnish connection.  We know Loreen's choreographer is a Finno-Italian  Ambra Succi and her wardrobe is design...

FINNS BEHIND LOREEN'S ACT

There's a little bit of Finland in the Swedish 2012 entry for Baku, Loreen's Euphoria . Not only is Loreen's wardrobe and look cured by a Finnish Tommy Granfors but also her choreographer is half Finnish, half Italian Ambra Succi. She has a dance studio in Stockholm and has made a great job with Loreen who has never danced before. She tells Loreen has been practicing the number since December and the trick is to make it look as effortless and natural as possible. Every moment is rehearsed and planned from eye movements to hands and fixed to suit Loreen and her personality.  Ambra, Tommy and Loreen worked together already last year with My heart is refusing me and Ambra, who usually doesn't work with commercial events chose to work with Loreen as she's genuine and original, single-minded and hard worker and now the hard work is paying off.  The choreography is a real collaboration between the two women who sought inspiration in the movie world, Memoirs...
