Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  My first look opinions, here they come! Belgium is looking very very nice I must say, still don't care for the song but I do like the visuals. Lithuania is another song I don't care for and the staging does nothing to me either.  San Marino . Colorful. That's all I can say. Even Senhit sounds off.  Poland has upped its game. Yet another song that does nothing to me but at least they have made an effort with the staging that looks pretty cool! Still all these four seem like NQs to me so far. Serbia . Whoever decided to put that bit of the song in this preview needs a raise immediately! The funniest preview clip I have seen in my Eurovision history - and that's a long one!

Day 6 in Eurovision bubble had the second 20 minutes rehearsals of the first nine entries in the semi-final two followed by the first rehearsals of the Big 5 + host country Sweden. Things seem to go smoothly as no major hick ups have been reported. Yesterday Finland's Windows96man burned his sock as the fireworks played a bit too long and the denim egg also tried to eat him up as the Malmö arena team accidentally started to close it too early. Another thing has been Italy's Angelina Mango's stand-in rehearsal video leaking on internet. Team Italy with Ebu is doing their best to make it disappear from the world wide web. And Croatia has re-taken the number one place in the odds as Switzerland drops to second place. As for today's rehearsals both Albania and Austria had changed their outfit. Yet another day in paradise called Liverpool Euroviison song contest bubble 2023 with no access to anyone but Ebu's very own. So kinda useless to blog or comment ans there's nothing much to blog and comment but the old habits die hard so here's anyways at least the roundup video and some photos. And maybe a comment or two if something comes up. One thing I noticed in photos: Both Italy and Greece have a moon apparently, and both men are pretty much hidden in the smoke at some point it seems. That adds to everybody sleeping on floor, or sitting down. Greece and Romania wearing same outfits in different colors and doing same kind of back twisting movements (judging by photos)..... It's becoming to feel a bit weird. Cyprus has lost his shoes it seems. Euroviison has been won a few times barefoot.... Georgia's dress got bigger.  And Lithuania's smaller. Today the semi-finalists had their second technical 20 minutes rehearsal. The remaining semi-final one Iceland, Norway and Armenia along with the semi-final two ones from Finland to San Marino. The Big5 first rehearsals continue with top-3 favorite France and very much underrated Italy.... Germany - Michael Schulte - You let me walk alone Germany seems to have scored well with it's improved staging; a lot of close ups of Michael, screen graphics and powerful delivery. Seems they are the second country with home brought LED wall for the projections in black and white and red, the photos were submitted by his fans earlier this spring apparently.  The duplicate image of Michael spreading his hands gets kinda psychedelic and disturbing but for the rest it looks pretty nice. At least they make the stage look very different from anyone else. Oh yes, you can't quite see it behind the LED wall, that's why... Casually dressed (for now?) and vocally strong. Did we witness some teary eyes, too? Some are putting Germany up there among winning candidates but let's not get over enthuastic here, maybe top-10 at best, right? While 24/37 semi-finalist have already rehearsed twice (30 minutes technical and 20 minutes fine tuning) today it's time have the Big5+host on stage for the first rehearsal . Their second rehearsal will take place on Sunday before the Blue Carpet and the Welcome Party. Portugal - Cláudia Pascoal feat. Isaura - O jardim It seems Isaura is no longer in shadows but wants her spotlight in the Eurovision stage, too, and Cláudia lets her have it, even if not sharing her podium. For once not the same staging as in the national final but a bit new one. Cláudia alone on rather dark lit stage at first, the light comes with Isaura and the beat for a moment. Cláudia seems to be avoiding direct camera contact that makes the performance a bit unusual. She's in a close up most of the song in her pink nightgown and pink hair while Isaura, for now, goes all lesbian chic in Nirvana t-shirt. "Simple", "Emotional", "Stunning", "Intimate", ...
