  The success continues as the second night scores a share of 64,5% or 11.700.000 viewers. That's best since 1995 for the second night's share and best since 2000 for the number of viewers. The night's top-5 ranking is basically the same as the first night as Achille Lauro, Lucio Corsi, Giorgia and Simone Cristicchi all made it with entrance of Fedez - First night's Brunori Sas will re-perform tonight. If he enters the Top-5 - most likely with Olly, Tony Effe and Irama but who will be the fifth one?! Damiano David made his return to Teatro Ariston singing first Lucio Dalla and then his own hit Born with a broken heart. The second Sanremo 2025 night will feature the Newcomers semifinals (or rather duels) and half of the Big will perform again. The Top-5 voted by the accredited press of the first night was Brunori Sas, Giorgia, Lucio Cordsi, Simone Cristicchi and Achille Lauro - in random order - pictured above. Eurovision song contest winners Måneskin has been a center or split rumors - promptly denied by all members - after Damiano David and Victoria De Angelis both have released solo material and done their own thing.  The most attention is of course on lead man Damiano. He first released Silverlines , a moody ballad and out of the blue right after comes this wonderfully pastel colored Born with a broken heart where he really can showcase his showman and entertainer skills in true Hollywood musical style. The hugely successful and polar duo has left Sanremo after five years. Whoever follows them has to face a similar situation as UMK2024 artists had to do post-Käärijä. Nothing is good enough. Artic director and host Amadeus and co-host Fiorello, after celebrating Angelina Mango's victory on stage walked out of Teatro Ariston hand in hand, stepped into their Cinderella carriage with horses and drove to sunset, or as it was Sanremo final night to dawn. All that after scoring a record breaking 90,7% share in the viewing figures as nearly 9 million Italians were still clued to their tv-screens to see them off. Earlier in the evening they reached 18,259 million and 85% share at 01.56 when the Top-5 super finalists were announced. How can you beat that? Every year a certain part of Italian fandom is complaining and lamenting and suggesting Italy should have a selection separately from Sanremo, or select internally or something, anything but send the Sanremo winner automatically.  Which in my opinion is like the silliest idea ever - unless they want to do bad or at least not so good. Because why? Italy is the first country in three decades to have a consecutive six  top-6 streak! (Correct me if I am wrong but it's Germany from 1978 to 1983). And on top of that it would surely be a seven year one if 2020 Euroviison wasn't cancelled. Since Italy's return Italy has sent a non Sanremo winner in 2011 (2nd), 2012 (9th), 2014 (21st) and 2016 (16th). In 2013 it was Marco Mengoni with L'essenziale, Sanremo winner and placed 7th.   Paola & Chiara closed the second night and will open the third night so they make a good headline photo for today. Because it's all furore, a positive one in Sanremo as Amadeus tops himself again and scored the best audience for the 2nd night since 1995 as well: 10.545.000 viewers in avergae the whole show, with a share of 62,3% . RaiPlay has broken all the record reaching 1,700.000 viewers, +74% compared to last year! If Blanco caused chaos the first night on stage, last night it was Fedez from the cruise ship but let's concentrate on music. There was a lot of good music yesterday and tonight we will see and hear all the 28 songs again for a second judging, probably new looks and outfits and most likely someone who under performed before will shine bright, and the other way round.
