Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

New series start: Let's kill some time having a look at the last decade and see who were the Top-10 best scoring countries in the Eurovision song contest in the past ten years. The ways to calculate are many and here I have used the simple average placement method (and it's not all so serious). First out Serbia! 2010 Milan Stanković - Ovo je Balkan (Ово је Балкан) - 13th *** 2011 Nina - Čaroban (Чаробан) - 14th * 2012 Željko Joksimović - Nije ljubav stvar (Није љубав ствар) - 3rd ***** 2013 Moje 3 - Ljubav je svuda (Љубав је свуда) - NQ (11th in semi-final) *** 2015 Bojana Stamenov - Beauty never lies - 10th *** 2016 Sanja Vučić ZAA - Goodbye (Shelter) - 18th **** 2017 Tijana Bogićević - In too deep - NQ (11th in semi-final) ** 2018 Sanja Ilić & Balkanika - Nova deca (Нова деца) - 19th **** 2019 Nevena Božović - Kruna (Круна) - 18th **** As a remainder, Serbia would have been represented by Hurricane (incl...

Lake Malawi Vs. Dead sea Mud. Sergey visited Jerusalem. Luca sightseeing. Nevena travelling with style. Red nose Sarah. Properly dressed for work? Boten Anna. Duncan sightseeing. Joci let his hair down. Kate swinging outdoors. Tel Aviv loves all of them. That's it for tonight.  ביי ביי

Hungary - Joci Pápai - Az én apám **** Simple is beautiful. Barefooted Joci alone on stage that at times reminds me of Jamala's tree growing in the backdrop. Not visible in this video the faces that will appear in the backdrop as well, I must say I'm not so keen on them. This said this is stylish, fitting and Joci is an artist that can trasmit emotion on screen and I firmly believe this will qualify for that reason, and end up rather well in the end.   Belarus - ZENA - Like it * This feels like ZENA and her team said "I like it" to every idea proposed by whoever was in charge for the staging. Smoke, fire, every possible idea and image in the backdrop topped with all over the place choreography. Every little like it I had for this earlier on has pretty much vanished. Confusing and irritating with mediocre vocals.  Serbia - Nevena Božović - Kruna **** This could be a real surprise as people do love a strong Balcan ballad and that's what Ne...

Tamta worked the beach of Tel Aviv  Chingiz enjoyed the morning view  Nevena the Pirate Queen  ZalaGasper. Paleness. Oto by the pool.  Jurij and wonders of Jerusalem.  Jonida's take on Jerusalem.  Irish team in Jaffa.  Baltics united.  Serhatari  Poltugal.  Conan.  That's it for another day in the Eurovision bubble. לילה טוב

Kate was the first one to reach the iconic Eurovision frame for a photo   D Mol took adventage of a day off and visited Jerusalem...  ... as did Joci .  Who photobombed his photo??!! Nevena enjoyed the scenery, too....   Sergey instead enjoyed the morning and Tel Aviv beaches...   Lake Malawi boys did so, too...  ... after their special morning cappuccinos!   Kobi took a walk from home to the local mall to check a gigantic himself.... Part of Hatari caused commotion at the beach, too... That's all for tonight. New check on their extra-rehearsal activites again tomorrow! להתראות

Serbia has also cut down their sogs to 15 for the semifinal and five of them will make the grand final of Beosong that returns after a break. Last year Željko Joksimović was internally selected. There was also a rumor he had a song for this year but if he did, it's not included in this final cut . Among the favorites Maja Nikolić and a trio of ladies, Mirna Radulović, Nevena Božović and Sara Jovanović .  Igor Terzija  - Moja svetlosti Dušan Zrnić - Što prolazim   Kristina Savić - Za tebe živim   Aleksandra Dabić - Savršen kraj   Kal - Usne kadifa   Žarko Stepanov – Tren   Ksenija Kočetova-   Svetla pale se za nas   Maja Nikolić – Blagoslov   Dušan Svilar – Spas   Nenad Milosavljević - Ruža od baruta   Maja Odžaklijevska - Anđeo s neba   Marija Mihajlović – Halo   Mirna Radulović, Nevena Božović & Sara Jovanović - Ljubav je svuda   SKY's – Magija   Saška Janković - Duga...
