Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Eneda wore her stage dress for the second rehearsal. It's golden yellow geographicly cut piece that with her red hair makes her look all golden. Even the floor. She sings the hell out of the song that you like or you don't. I suppose she will be watching the final from tv or in the hall as an audience. 

Eneda, dressed in black and white today, has three visible (!!!) backing vocalists on stage. There are golden colors  (and a lot of blue, sigh)  and stage smoke to create a soft feeling. It's all very simple and Eneda hardly moves her feet at all standing in one spot just waving her hands all around. Vocally good no doubt. The rehearsal had a few fase starts and technical problems though and the blog world seems to thin it's forgettable, uninspired and dull. Static. Why I'm not surprised? In Meet & Greet Eneda tells her performance felt like a fairytale. Yup. Her dress will be golden color with some futuristic feel to it. And yes, there's something Albanian in the staging: the eagle. Did someone spot it? And her next project after Eurovision is a birthday party to her daughter who turns 3. And also new songs. Some talk about the Fairytale songs, that she didn't know existed! For the first time the Blogilkar panel has six people reviewing, and quite an international team it is: a Finn, a Brit, an Irish living in Belgium, a Dutch, an Italian living in Sweden and as a cherry on the cake, a German living in the UK! In coming days we will review all the entries with out personal notes.  Four foxy ladies to kick of this year's Eurovision song presentations. Enjoy! ALBANIA - ENEDA TARIFA - FAIRYTALE (Olsa Toqi) This was the first chosen song for this year. When it won the Festivali i Këngës it was in Albanian and titled  Përrallë . It has gone through a major revamp since and unfortunately not succesfully it seems... Blogilkar: Albania in original arrangement and in Albanian was somewhat interesting; a bit mysterious and intriguing. The new mix in English falls flat by the time the chorus kicks in. Even Eneda has lost the sparkle in her voice with it. This can be now saved only by an owesome staging that will take away from the 13-in...

Moscow hosts again another Eurovision pre-party, for the 7th time already. This time in Izvestiya Hall. Apparently 13 acts will be present - even though there are mixed information on Albania's and San Marino's participation, let's see.... The entries have been handed out in Stockholm to EBU and SVT and one by one the Eurovision versions of the songs are being delivered and revealed to us. Let's start with the good ones. Israel has done something to Made of stars and it has turned out very intense and classy indeed. The best ballad thingy along with Serbia this year by far! I don't miss Ella D at all! France has cut the beginning anf the end to make it a three minute one, and apparently made it also softer and faster. Great job! Also Spain has changed a few thing but nothing major. I may have liked the original a bit more for it's heavier beats and a bit more amateurish sound.... But this isn't bad at all! And then the bad. Albania what have you done? Gone is the drama, the atmosphere, the mystery.... All is left is Eneda's voice, far more less convincing in English. From ok that could have been pretty good to one of the worst. Unlistenable.
