Kirsten Joy has submitted a song - clearly the best one so far if you ask this blogger! - to the Swiss selection, One life . Born in South Africa to missionary parents she describes herself today "culturally confused", thus being a perfect represent for Switzerland! Every Eurovision fan knows by now Dekel and Bastien, the Parody Guys! This couple has provided as fun and joy already three years and this year they are back. And the chosen one is the Finnish entry Marry me (again) and the videos has been shot all around the world, from Helsinki to New York, from London to Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Stockholm and all the other places! Buranoskie Babushki will visit Finland next summer and Iisalmi of all places! It will be their only visit this summer to Finland or any other Nordic country. Their visit is linked to opening of the Evacuee center in June. As we know the grannies are Udmurts and their language is part of the Finno-Ugric languages just like Finnish. The Carelians, another Finno-Ugric tribu is the biggest evacuee group in the Finnish history. Over 400.000 Carelians had to leave their homes and land that taken by the Sovjet Union and be settled elsewhere in Finland between 1946-1948.
