EUROVISION 2026: THOSE WHO DIDN'T MAKE IT TO THE FINAL

While the rehearsals for the grand final are going on in Vienna let's have a look at those ten who didn't make it to the end. In my personal order of preference. Latvia being the one I am most sad about.... Portugal ended its run of five consecutive finals Azerbaijan NQ'ed for the 4th in a row Switzerland NQ'ed after a win and a null points from the televote the year after. Georgia NQ's for the second year in a row Overall they have qualified only once in the past 10 years! Armenia NQ'd for the first time in 5 years San Marino NQ'ed for the 4th in 5 years Senhit NQ'd for the 2nd time Estonia NQ'd for the first time in 5 years and after last year's 3rd place Montenegro has qualifed only twice before: 2014 and 2015 Luxemburg NQ'd for the first time. Both ever and after its comeback in 2024.  Whichever way you want to count it.

EUROVISION 2026: FIFTH REHEARSAL DAY IN VIDEOS

What can I say? Not much judging these short videos. But I say a few words anyways by the first impression that can be very misleading anyways. Moldova is a bit let down, not at all so powerful and energetic as I expected. Vocals seem to be off, too. Sweden . Same as Moldova. Which makes me think these vids are on purpose a mess. Croatia seems very busy and a bit too serious and angry. I have said before and I repeat myself: angry women don't do well in Eurovision . Greece .... Oh well, looks rather chaotic and his voice a bit weak. But then again it's a rehearsal. Need to see the whole package but doesn't look like a winner despite all. This said my favorite performance of them all is the Greek national final preview with only one hanging mic. That was fab and let Akylas show all his charm. Now he disappears into his visuals.  Portugal stands out with the pretty staging, calm song and good voices. They're so sailing to the final! Georgia was on my list to qualify b...

EUROVISION 2026: BLOGILKAR'S HOME JURY RESULTS - FROM 28th TO 31st

Here it is, already traditional Blogilkar's Eurovision Home Jury results. This year we had a total of nine people in the jury from teenagers to 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s, most every one just people who do watch Eurovision but aren't any fanatic fans, just tv viewers who don't remember who won two years ago or sometimes even last year, don't have a clue about the polls and odds but just score the songs to their liking. We used 1 to 10 scores. Tie breaks were settled by highest marks and if still a tie by my preference. Here we go! 28. MONTENEGRO - TAMARA ZIVKOVIC - NOVA ZORA    38 29. PORTUGAL - BANDIDOS DO CANTE - ROSA  36 30. SAN MARINO - SENHIT FEAT. BOY GEORGE - SUPERSTAR   35 31. CROATIA -  LELEK - ANDROMEDA    34

EUROVISION 2026: MONTENEGRO'S MONTESONG 2025 FINAL - TAMARA ZIVKOVIC WINS WITH NOVA ZORA

Montenegro is selecting its entry for Eurovision song contest tonight. 15 songs have made it this far and there will be a threesome voting: 50% jury, 25% Montenegrin televote and 25% international televote. The show airs from RTCG's Veliki studios in Podgorica. Among artists Eurovision veteran Andrea Demirović and Dolce Hara who for some mysterious reason has decided to sing in accented Italian or maybe just keep up with the "let's sing in Italian for no reason at all" in various national finals trend that regularly is dusted somewhere. And she's not even alone.... Tamara Is a singer and flutist, studies in University of Arts in Belgrade. Her breakthrough came last year in Montesong where she placed 9th with Poguban let . After that she has released another two songs:  Prošla godina and Bez kontrole .  Update: Music video and revamped version was released March 8, 2026 Below are the results (jury + public - total, placement) Lara Baltić - Rhythm Boy   (6 + 12) 18 ...

EUROVISION 2025 ACOUSTIC VERSIONS OF THE SEASON

The most popular and easiest alternative version to do is of course an acoustic version and there's been plenty of them this Eurovision 2025 season.... Enjoy!

EUROVISION 2025: REHEARSAL DAYS 3-4 IN PHOTOS - SEMIFINAL TWO FIRST LOOK

Just like the ones for semifinal one ( here ) here come the first three photos of the first rehearsals of the ones in semifinal two with a short little comment what to expect compared to what was expected judged by the Ebu commentary. Day 3 features Australia and much anticipated Austria as they are internally selected ones so there's no idea how the song is planned to be staged. And apparently both do deliver big time. Australia follows the lead of the music video as does Austria but they couldn't be any more different from each other; Australia fun and colorful, Austria dramatic in black and white. Montenegro seems to follow more the original Montesong staging rather than the music video, while Ireland and Latvia have updated their national final stagings. Armenia follows Croatia's lead and brings a whole new staging in Basel as does Greece. Lithuania sticks to the same old.  Day 4 features the rest of the semifinal two. And it seems to be a lot of fog, props, BIG props, ...
