Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Laura Pausini, a global superstar, was the hostess of the Eurovision song contest 2022 and in true Italian aka Sanremo style her outfits were designed by top design houses, one per every evening. More outfits were displayed in her grand final opening number. She also caused a bit of a commotion when in the final she disappeared from screens and left Alessandro Cattelan and Mika alone during the voting.  She had a drop of blood pressure and had to rest for about 20 minutes. This adds to Italian stars with unlucky moments in this week after Il Volo's Gianluca had to perform on video being in Covid-19 guarantee, and Måneskin's Damiano performing clearly in pain due to an ankle injury... But let's check Laura's looks! It's all black in Sanremo fashionwise. Or almost. Last night Michelle Hunziker wore Alberta Ferretti and sported some color, finally! The other ladies were in black, except Alice Caioli in white..... Men continued in various outfits of black, with the exception of Elio e Le Storie Tese in colorful Indian outfits again, Renzo Rubino in his questionable casual ones, and Ron in dark but colorful jaclet. Newcomer Lorenzo Baglioni wore dark red while Pierfrancesco Favino sported a beautiful blue jackt at some point.... Will the third night bring some color?

  Sanremo used to back in the day also a placee to check coming trends and latest fashion. A place to see the colors that wil be next summer's fashion and so on. But world changes and it's not so much anymore so. Or what can you made up from last night's fashion statements? Mostly boring boring boring... Michelle Hunziker has chosen to wear all Made in Italy: Last night and Saturday's final she wears Armeni privé, tonight Alberta Ferretti, Thursday Trussardi and Friday Moschino.... No doubt she looks good in everything and being the hostess, can permit high fashion. The only four female of the festival wore only black and white the first night. Annalisa and Noemi rather casual, while Nina Zilli sported a more searched look while La Vanoni something suitable for her age..... Most of the men were also in black and there's not much to say. Black with more or less added rock. Blue for Caccamo, green for Diodato, red for Red and colorful Indian dresses f...

Sanremo is not only music and songs. It's also one of the biggest fashion shows in Italy. One can describe it five day long red carpet where all designers want to be. This year is no exception. We know that Carlo Conti will trust Salvatore Ferragamo once again with one new suit for every night. It has taken three months to make them.... Madalina Ghenea is this year's "model" and has 15 dresses ready for the five nights from Alberta Ferretti , who has privided five of them, then she wears Vionnet and Libanese Zuhair Murat . Virginia Raffaele has kept mysterious about her choices but she's wearing different designers every night. Gabriel Garko has chosen Gianni Battistoni and he will be wearing suits inspired every night by different legendary movie stars: Paul Newman, Marcello Mastoianni, Gary Crant, Marlon Brando and Sean Connery. Nicole Kidman is a star of such calibre she can keep Giorgio Armani and Chanel waiting whose dress she will eventually choose...
