Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Swedish Melodifestivalen is one stop short from the final. Before that we have the second chance or Andra chansen round that is done in duels. The only one that I really want for the final here is Dolly Style, the rest I don't care and the last duel is the thoughest; which one is worse? Anyways, I have indicated a little * for my favorites. Saturday night we know how this ends and who joins the final line up. They are: * Andreas Weise - Bring out the fire Vs. Linus Svenning - Forever starts today Hasse Andersson - Guld och gröna skogar Vs. * Kristin Amparo - I see you * Dolly Style - Hello hi Vs. Dinah Nah - Make me (La la la) * Behrang Miri feat. Victor Crone - Det rår vi inte för Vs. Samir & Victor - Groupie UPDATE: The results are in and I got them all wrong, lol. Only proves that MF 2015 is less and less interesting for me..... Qualifiers are Linus, Hasse, Dinah and Samir & Victor. I doubt none of these will be bothering the top contenders...

Eric Saade and Jessica Andersson, the Eurovision veterans took themselves directly to the final tonight. Dolly Style and Behrang Miri & Victor Crone got to the Andra chancen round while the others are out: 5th Rickard Söderberg & Elize Ryd, 6th Molly Pettersson hammar and 7th Daniel Gildenlöw.  What to say? I'm a bit surprised Behrang Miri did it to the Andra chancen, but not at all surprised for Saade, Andersson and Dolly Style . Holly, Molly and Polly are quickly becoming the theme song for this season, hello hi! :-) Saade was better than I expected. The song I mean. The sax totally saves it and gives an extra layer. Andersson delivers and deserves to be in the final. Back to Miri, it's not bad at all and maybe it's better to have it still in the race instead of more predictable and calculated Söderberg & Ryd for example, which seems to have been a favorite by many. Melodifestivalen 2015 kicks of tonight from Gothenburg. Several familiar names in the line up, including Eurovision veterans Eric Saade and Jessica Andersson and from national finals Behrang Miri and Daniel Gildenlöw. Along is also specially formed trio of Molly, Polly and Holly aka Dolly Style.... No comment. This said the dollys may be the brightest thing in this semi, that judging the snippets seem rather lame, only Jessica and Daniel got me interested. And Dollys. Update: After hearing the almost full versions I stick to Dolly. It's fun, shamelessly plastic and fun. And catchy as hell. Saade isn't as bad as I feared, saved by the sax. Ahead the announcement of the artists tomorrow and Tuesday more names have emerged as possible entrants. First of all we have previous winner Eric Saade . From last year's final surprise we have Ellen Benediktsson making a possible comeback. Daniel Gildenlöw also is rumored to make his solo debut, his band Pain of Salsation presented fantastic Road salt in 2010. From 2005 we have a one hit wonder Carolina Wennergren . She was the big surprise that year with A different kind of love , that is still remembered even if we haven't heard much of her since....  Also listed is Andreas Johnson who's still missing a victory in MF from his CV. Then we have Behrang Miri ,  punkrock band Neverstore , boyband JRT and all the previous names I wrote about here . 

Here we have them. Two more will make the final line up in Friends Arena in Stockholm next week and then travels from the huge arena to small intimate Malmö in May for the Eurovision 2013 final. Will it be Martin "I always wanted to be in Modern Talking" Rolinski? Will Behrang sawa dance to the final? Is it the last hello and goodbye to Erik & Tone? Will Cookies burn their flags? I think I would go for Martin and Cookies 'n Beans (or Robin or Anton depending on mood!) What an earth has happened to Melodifestivalen? Has the euphoria turned into hangover this year as the songs seem so uninspired, boring, uninteresting and bland to say the least. The show itself is still on top level, but the songs... If one was hoping they saved the best for last and for this last semifinal unfortunately it isn't so. Army of Lovers is not really delivering (at least in thet one minute snippet), Ulrik Munther has been inspired by Paradise Oskar it seems for his stage presentation, Behrang Miri recycles the French entry of some years ago... olè! I guess Army of Lovers will take the straight rocket ride to the final with la Camilla who is seven million years old and Alexander Bard in his underwear (but without his fallos as he planned to)  but who will join them? Behrang? Therese? Ulrik? Even Sylvia (how popular is she egentligen?) or the other -hammar.  Will we have other rather shocking results as we have had so far? Army of Lovers - Rockin' the ride ...
