ESC 2015 HUNGARY: SEMIFINAL TWO TOMORROW

Hungary will have it's second and last semifinal before the grand final tomorrow night. Once again four songs wil qualify for the final. First three by jury/televote and then televoters can save one more among the non-qualifiers. Nelow the entries and the scores they got in the previous qualification heats. These nine all made it thanks to jury votes and no televoters wildcard are in. Eurovision veteran kati Wolf is in the leading position. My favorites are Kati - with her air conditioned and lighten up dress, they always invent something new!, Ív, Bogi, Passed and as a wildcard Other Planet.  Kati Wolf – Ne engedj el  45 Passed – Mesmerize  43 Other Planet – Untold Story  42 Gergő Oláh – A tükör előtt  41 Bálint Gájer – That’s How It Goes  40 Ív – Fire  38 Bogi Dallos – World of Violence  38 Éliás Gyula Jr. ft. Fourtissimo – Run to You  36 Gabi Szűcs – Úgysem felejtesz el  37 UPDATE: Kati Wolf won the second...

ESC 2015 HUNGARY: WE HAVE THE FIRST A DAL QUALIFIERS

The first Hungarian heat was presented tonight and once again the level of the songs is very high. Hungary is so going to win Eurovision very time soon. Tonight the jury and voters had hard time to pick up the qualifiers and as you can see in the points it was very even. The jury had to pick up two of the three songs with 37 points for the next step and unfortunately Balazs Farkas Jenser was left out and didn't survive the televote for the remaining act as Timi Antak emerged as viewers' favorite from there. This blogger doesn't entirely agree with the result but then there were just too many god ones! Passed - Mesmerize   43 Vera Toth - Gyemant   39 Bogi - World Of Violence   38 Balazs Farkas Jenser - Liar   37 Gabi Szucs - Ugysem felejtesz el   37 Karmapolis - The Time Is Now   37 Gergo Szakacs – Ösz utca   33 Timi Antak - Woke Up This Way   33 MDC - Maniac   31 Bori Magyar - Lead Me To Heaven   29 *qual...

Hungary has been flirting with the victory for years now and A Dal has grown one of the best national selections around. Will they finally take the victory in Vienna? Could be.... Bori Magyar -  Lead Me To Heaven Balazs Farkas Jenser - Liar Gabi Szucs -  Ugysem felejtesz el Passed -  Mesmerize Bogi - World Of Violence Karmapolis -  The Time Is Now Gergo Szakacs – Ösz utca Timi Antak - Woke Up This Way Vera Toth - Gyemant MDC -  Maniac

ESC 2015 HUNGARY: THE FIRST HUNGARIANS ARE OUT

Hungary has revealed today the first ten A Dal entries and the date for the final: February 28, 2015. Hungary has been doing well the past years and is heavily tipped to finally score a win any time now, could it happen in Vienna, a city that shares so much history with Hungary? Hungarian television received 350 songs this year and 30 will be heard in the semifinals so there 20 more to come..... But last year's fan favorite Bogi is already there.  You can listen snippets of these here .  Chances - The night Boggie - Walls for nothing Bogi - World of violance Balácz Fargas-Jenser - Liar Karmapolis - The time is now MDC - Maniac Barbie - Listen to the universe Spoon - Keep marching on Saci & Böbe Szécsi - Our time Vera Tóth - Gyémánt

#ESC 2014 HUNGARY: KALLÁY SAUNDERS RUNS TO COPENHAGEN!

He did it finally. András Kalláy Saunders will represent Hungary with his Running in the Eurovision song contest 2014. The Hungarian final was very good this year and I'm glad my favorites made it to top-4 chosen by the jury and then televoted; besides him Bogi, Viktor Király and Fool Moon.

#ESC 2014 HUNGARY: ANDRÁS OR VIKTOR RUNNING FOR VICTORY?

Hungary concluded its two semifinals for A Dal 2014 final last weekend and we have the eight finalists now. From both semifinals two songs were chosen by the jury, another two by televoters of the remaining ones. In the second semifinal Kalláy Saunders was the winner but Dénes Pál and Fool Moon tied with the jury vote. They chose Fool Moon in the end but Dénes Pàl then qualified thanks to televoters. It should be all laid out for Kállay Saunders win with the jury support and most likely also the televoters. However, we have no clue how the jury favorites will feature with televoters as they have never been televoted before the final. In theory at least. Last year Kállay Saunders won the televote and ByeAlex was the last and fourth entry to make the superfinal by jury votes but emerged as the winner when televoters got their say! This blogger is all for Kállay Saunders, but there are a couple of other very good ones as well: Bogi, Dénes and Fool Moon.... Here are the finalists and...

#ESC 2014 HUNGARY: WE HAVE FINALISTS

Hungary had its first semifinal (second will follow tomorrow) while Sweden was being boring and Iceland made some serious mistakes and four acts qualified. The jury voted to the final Viktor Király and Bogi. Televoters sent to final Depresszio and New Level Empire. The fan favorite Joni is out. Last year the Hungarian televoters lifted ByeAlex to the victory from lower places so who knows how this ends....  Viktor Király - Running out of time Bogi - We all Depresszio - Csak a zene New Level Empire - The Last One
