Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  Not much to tell about ladies fashion as besides Michelle, dressed by Trussardi for the occasion, there were only Eva among newcomers and Noemi among Big plus surprise guest Virginia Raffaele. Michelle looked stunning in pink but Virginia took home the prize for the best look. One can only admire when someone is so pretty, elegant, good in everything and even funny as hell! Noemi had a very low decoltée and may have had a boobgate happening and Eva... well.... No comment! Men were mostly in black so not much to tell really. Shiny material dominated the Newcomers but also Gazzé. Mudimbi looked stunning in his Carlo Pignatelli and Lo Stato Sociale continued with a very casual look. Lead singers t-shirt had Voglio le coccole (I want cuddles) written in it last night. And guess what? Their stylist is the same as Fancesco Gabbani's last year, Alessandrini. And not only, the 83-year-old dancing granny is compared to last yeear's gorilla. Could it be their do the trick?...

After winning the international juries vote the online voting hs been added and there's no doubt it: Mikolas Josef's groovy Lie to me is the winner in Czech Republic and is set to do wonders in Lisbon. Maybe. At least it's their best effort yet: original, catchy, different from the rest with a likable artist and great video. Now it's all up to his live vocals and staging..... Out with the gorille, in with the camel - it's 2018!

(It's actually Daniele Alessandrini) Francesco Gabbani with his Occidentali's Karma is the favorite amongst Italian fans (and not only) for Eurovision song contest 2017 in Kyiv. But first he should win the festival or at least finish 2nd or 3rd to be even considered. And this could well happen. It's a catchy uptempo song that at first glance seems just like that, even with the gorilla on stage but the lyrics reveal so much more. It's based on Desmond Morris famous study The Naked Ape , Gabbani explains: "The song is very ironic because the irony is the spice of life and it is synonymous with intelligence, The song, although it has a catchy rhythm, it's actually very serious. It wants to be a critical  towards the contemporary habit of Westerners to copy the rites and oriental disciplines like yoga without understanding them at all, just because they are fashionable So I thought of a choreography: I wanted to play down these habit and manners."...
