ESC 2015: HOW THE ODDS HAVE CHANGED SINCE MAY 4 UNTIL TODAY?

So, tomorrow's the night. Sweden, Italy and Australia have kept their favorite status all along, while Russia and Belgium have made the last minute rush to claim the trophy, and can we ignore Serbia's explosion that was first laughed at, then labelled hopeless and then all of sudden everyone loved it.... Estonia, Norway and Azerbaijan hang in there while Slovenia has been slipping while Israel hasn't risen as high on the list one could easily think seeing its popularity. Georgia started from the bottom and has worked its way to the midtable. France and Romania are slowly climbing and Armenia falling The biggest losers are Finland, Iceland and Belarus that were 5th, 10th and 15th still on May 10 but didn't survive the semifinal. Here are the rankings for the finalists (May 4-May 10-May 22) on Oddchecker. Sweden (01-01-01) Russia (07-07-02) Italy (02-02-03) Belgium (13-12-04) Australia (03-03-05) Estonia (04-04-06) Serbia (21-22-07) Norway (06-06...

ESC 2015: HOW THE ODDS CHANGE AFTER THE FIRST ROUND OF REHEARSALS, vol.2

All the entries in the second semifinal have now been heard and seen on stage. The first technical rehearsals are over and even if there are still changes to be made for the second round of rehearsals they are minor ones so the act is pretty much what we have seen so far. If we check  Oddchecker  as it was before rehearsals (May 10) and this morning (May 15) there aren't any major changes. The biggest climber is Latvia going up six places to 13th. Lithuania and Cyprus go up 2-3 places in the mdtable but for the rest it's more or less the same. This semi includes both the number one, Sweden, and the bottom one, Portugal. Both keep their standings. Then the droppers. Many talked nicely about Poland, including me, but the betters aren't convinced as it drops four places to 28th. Two highly praised and popular entries Norway (dropping three to 9th place) and Israel (dropping three places to 20th) both are actually going down.... Let's see how things change after toda...

If we check Oddchecker as it was before rehearsals (May 10) and this morning (May 14) there aren't any major changes. Everyone seems to be talking about Russia being the one that climbed to a winner candidate now . In fact it moved from 7th place to 4th right after Sweeden, Italy and Australia passing Estonia, Finland and Norway. Romania also climbs five spots from 27 to 22. But the biggest climber is Georgia jumping from 32 to 17, a fact ignored by most. Well done, Nina! Other climbers are Greece, Hungary and Denmark while other move up or down only one place or so. Finland starts dropping slowly out of the top-5. Let's see what happens when the second semifinal rehearsals conclude tonight, will there ...
