Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

  Serbia returns to national final format after many years and reborn Beovizija will take place on February 20. Among artist Eurovision veteran Rambo Amadeus and Eurovision winning composer Vladimir Graic.... and Marija Serifovic's step brother Danijel. A lot of Slavic melancholy in offer but this blogger loves it so this is proving one of the most pleasant national finals this year, I've missed all these Balcan ballads! Serbia will select its entry for Vienna 2015 Eurovision over this weekend in a show called Countdown to Vienna or  Odbrojavanje za Beč . On Saturday the three singers Bojana Stamenov , Danica Krstić and Aleksa Jelić will perform both national and international songs letting the audience get to know them a bit better. On Sunday night it is then serious business as they will present their entries, all written by Vladimir Graić, who already won Eurovision in Helsinki 2007 for Serbia with Molitva .  Maja Nikolić will be the guest star on Sunday and Dragana Kosjerina will host it all.

One more exciting thing for Eurovision fans are the spokespersons as every year several previous (and sometimes future) Eurovision entrants re-appear to announce the votes of their country, or previous hosts like this year Alsou for Russia. or she's a double as she also did Eurovision as singer. For Italy it's lovely Federica Gentile, for San Marino John Kennedy O'Connor, a very familiar name for Eurovision freaks. And Finland gives the honor to Kristiina Wheeler, who would be a great entrant herself (What are you waiting for??). Serbia has also cut down their sogs to 15 for the semifinal and five of them will make the grand final of Beosong that returns after a break. Last year Željko Joksimović was internally selected. There was also a rumor he had a song for this year but if he did, it's not included in this final cut .
