Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

After four heats of Melodifestivalen it's time for the second chance round aka Andra chansen of those who finished 3rd and 4th. Sadly it's once again made in duels so one can only guess this system's fairness. The duels are based on simple rules: they must be 3rd and 4th placed ones against each other, and they can't be from the same heat. That already pretty much sets who's against who.... According Björkman also they try to put songs aiming to be liked by same groups of fans against each other... My winners are Anna Bergendahl, Nano, Arvingarna and between Stenmarck and Ajax I don't really care.... Andreas Johnsson Vs. Anna Bergendahl Vlad Reiser Vs. Nano Martin Stenmarck Vs.   Four medicore semifinals later Sweden has its Melodifestivalen second chance round. If it was for me I'd send only two songs to the final: Margaret and Mendez. Period. All the rest is useless fillers. Margaret - In my cabana Vs. Moncho - Cuba libre No minimal doubt here. I like Margaret and her song's fun. While I totally dislike this fake Cuba nonsense..... Remaida - All the feels Vs. Olivia Eliasson - Never learn Well, I don't either of these, but Renaida is more interesting.... Felix Sandman - Every single day Vs. Mimi Warner - Songburning I don't care about these two either but I choose Felix, just because... well, it's a bit more original. Sigrid Bernson - Patrick Swayze Vs. Mendez - Everyday No question here either. Mendez all the way. Compared to Moncho he's at least some how authentic and better in every way. Oh and Sigrid is nonsense.

Swedish Melodifestivalen is one stop short from the final. Before that we have the second chance or Andra chansen round that is done in duels. The only one that I really want for the final here is Dolly Style, the rest I don't care and the last duel is the thoughest; which one is worse? Anyways, I have indicated a little * for my favorites. Saturday night we know how this ends and who joins the final line up. They are: * Andreas Weise - Bring out the fire Vs. Linus Svenning - Forever starts today Hasse Andersson - Guld och gröna skogar Vs. * Kristin Amparo - I see you * Dolly Style - Hello hi Vs. Dinah Nah - Make me (La la la) * Behrang Miri feat. Victor Crone - Det rår vi inte för Vs. Samir & Victor - Groupie UPDATE: The results are in and I got them all wrong, lol. Only proves that MF 2015 is less and less interesting for me..... Qualifiers are Linus, Hasse, Dinah and Samir & Victor. I doubt none of these will be bothering the top contenders...

Yet another super weekend in the Eurovision world. This year most everyone is selecting pretty late and strangely theese three last weekends are the busiest of the season. This time we start with Ireland already tonight, tomorrow we get Romania, Estonia and Lithuania also selects its winning combination. And then on Sunday we will have France and Azerbaijan. And there's Sweden's second chance round, too.... And Belgium... It seems the rock entries ended in the Andra chansen aka Second chance, with a very few exceptions. The only one I really want to the final is Helena Paparizou, I have kinda learned to like it, and it is catchy. But the other one? I'm between three: Linus, JEM and Outtrigger. I'd like to like Linus a bit more but something isn't yet right, J.E.M are fun if nothing original, and Outrigger for the fun of it. So let's say Helena and Outtrigger for me! Recap .
